Ever since the advent of mankind, progress made by the civilization directly, or indirectly centres round two things: science of life and philosophy of life.

The anatomy of body has been studied to the extent that now man can withstand diseases and live a healthier life. Millions of people are living in the world with artificial limbs in their bodies. Globe trotting is going on. Man put his small foot on the surface of moon on 10 July 1961 which is considered the greatest step in the history of human civilization. On 17 July 1976, there was a historical ‘hand-shake’ in space by the Power Blocks. The dead do not speak, but those who died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 have certainly their tragic tales to tell. A tale of dismay, a tale of ill-will and a tale of irreligious act, echoing Shakespeare’s concern, “O Lord, what fool these mortals be!”

Philosophy of Life

One of the greatest modern psychologists Sir Jung has described in his book ‘Modern Man in Search of Soul’ that among all his patients, there had not been even one whose problem in the last resort was not that of finding a religious outlook on life. Great philosopher saint Augustine of Hippo writes, “Restless are our souls, until they rest in Thee my God”. On his death bed renowned philosopher Oscar Wilde asked, “Why has destruction such a fascination?” And he himself answered, “We are no longer captains of our souls.” As we cannot think of using pen without ink within, we cannot think of world civilization without enlightenment of soul within!

The fundamental outcome from the Rio Conference held by U.N. on 12 February 2013, for Sustainable Development, was the fact that we are heading towards a set of economic, social and environmental crisis and the only way to change things is to rethink development keeping in mind the patent message that “people are important, but equally important is the planet on which the prosperity of these people depends.” Civilization demands that wars should always be moved from battle fields to peace-tables.

A Spiritual Issue

Population explosion, magnified power of technology and psychological attitudes becoming a way of living on earth – all these factors combined, we are behaving as if the planet is a business in liquidation. International conflict, environmental distress and religious terrorism occupy the attention of world leaders over the future of our planet. There is a collusion between our civilization and planet earth – look at the devastating hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and corona-virus pandemic said to be biggest event of our life time proving harbinger of death and destruction.

Leading scientists in the world are openly giving a call that we probably have short time left in which to make a dramatic change in the pattern that now represents business as usual. Yes, we can fulfil the task but we will first have to change attitudes and awareness and recognize all this as a spiritual issue, a challenge that goes to the core of who we are as human beings. This is the 21st century, if there is major progress, there are also major problems. In such a situation, awareness is important, warmth is important. With the ever growing impact of science and technology on our lives, spirituality has a game-changing role to play in reminding us of our humanity.

Arnold Toynbee, a distinguished historian studied the genesis and fall of 21 different human civilizations spanning a period of 9000 years and found that 19 of them declined and disappeared when the religious foundations that sustained them had become corrupted. He says, “Each time, the people lost faith in religion, its civilization succumbed to social disintegration. The civilization that had fallen as a result of the loss of faith had been replaced by a new civilization inspired by true religion through spiritual awakening, unifying the truth that God is one.

The true religion based on spiritual awakening is a vehicle of spiritual enlightenment, social consciousness and cultural values which are best suited to address the problems of life in all forms of our beautiful planet earth. It was exactly this kind of religion in his mind when William Burke claimed that the religion is the foundation of Republic of Mankind, the basis on which all true Civil Governments rest, and from which power derives its authority, laws their efficiency and both their sanction. If it is once shaken by contempt, the whole fabric cannot be stable or lasting.

A Clarion Call

A twinge of conscience is a glimpse of God. There is a clarion call ringing bell in the canopy of sky for all human beings to sharpen their conscience for rejuvenation of civilization of the world. The durability of any edifice, however, magnificent at the top depends on its foundation. When the latter crumbles, the Citadal falls down. Thus, larger and higher the edifice, the wider and stronger the foundation it requires. It would thus be appreciated that the International Solidarity viz “World Civilization” needs fabulous foundation on the doctrine of universal brotherhood of man supported by the ethical belief in the Fatherhood of God. The proposition of much needed World Civilization is great indeed but the efforts needed to implement it need also be of equally great magnitude. Indeed every country, every group and every individual has to contribute to the emergence of the World Civilization for which the entire humanity is irresistibly yawning and craving.

Culture sans consciousness

Death of body is not such a great loss as the death of conscience. The virus of this killer disease (Death of Conscience) has spread globally. After afflicting the conscience, the virus spreads to the head and heart, bringing with it greed and graft. Being infectious, the virus acquires the dimension of epidemic. Although the virus may not cause physical death, yet it causes the death of all human values and whatever is good and virtuous. Materialistic values and outlook have also weakened the fabric of society to the point where selfishness has become endemic in all walks of life. Corruption is an assault on consciousness. We cannot therefore expect any potential of such a culture to promote unified consciousness as the bedrock of world civilization.

Persons with enlightened souls enrich and empower human life for working with dedication as an agent of God for attainment of perfection at home, in the work place and in the society at large. The thumb rule for practical ethics is, “Desist from doing to others what you would not like to be done unto you.” All this denotes that civilization is another name of humanism which is the outcome of spiritual awakening based on actual knowledge of God, it has essentially to be cosmic and global. None of us is as strong as all of us together. Therefore, Unified Consciousness, producing heave in unison, is the only way out to establish cherished world civilization.

Humanism is sometimes limited to one’s communal group. We have heard about Hindutva (Hindu Brotherhood) Ummat (Muslim Brotherhood), Christendom (Christian Brotherhood) etc. etc. It is clear that this type of limited brotherhood based on gregarious instinct may not be truly humanistic as the people confined in one brotherhood may not have that broad level of love and feeling as they may have in case of their own communal group. (Birds of a feather flock together) Humanism based on religions, cultural and linguistic grouping may not be global in content. Therefore, no religious, cultural or linguistic cohesion or affinity can lead to the humanism worth the name. Someone is a Hindu, a Muslim a Sikh and a Christian; each one of them has created a separate world of his own.

God is the source of consciousness and is the cosmic being out of which consciousness has manifested. In fine, true humanism is possible when we know that myself and others are the same with natural affinity created by common Fatherhood of God. So knowledge of common source is pre-requisite for creating unfied consciousness and cosmic brotherhood. Therefore, world civilization has not to be merely collective but the unified consciousness essentially born out of actual knowledge of one God for all, which results spontaneously and simultaneously in the sense of organic unity of mankind. It is like blood relation. Humanism and humility go together. When the knowledge that everything in this universe comes from the single source (God), takes root in our consciousness, it carries a profound impact on us. It means humanity is of each other, whether you are a Christian, Jew, Muslim or a Hindu. This can wipe out the gruesome conflicts prevailing in the world today. We desperately need the feeling of cosmic kinship that inherently results from the realisation of one source, the God. To be human is to be humble and to be humble is to be divine. When human and divine means the same thing then the real humanism comes into existence to give birth to world civilization.

Consciousness is a universal attribute of all life forms. The assumption that consciousness is produced by the brain is no longer viable — Deepak Ranade. Underlying all is unbroken wholeness, super consciousness, which is very aptly described in the upanishads. — “Om Poornamadah ………” According to Edmoud Holmes, “The Upanishads are dominated by one paramount conception, that of the ideal oneness of the soul of man with the soul of the universe. The central theme of all the Upanisads is, “Aham Brahamasmi – I am Brahman.”

Quantum Austrian Physicist Erwin Schrodinger is known for the phrase, “The total number of minds in the universe is one. In fact, consciousness is a singularity phasing within all beings”, which best summarizes his philosophical outlook on the nature of Reality. The phrase implies that apparent multiplicity of minds is just an illusion and that there is only one mind or one consciousness that expresses itself in a myriad of ways.” In such a world view, a separation between subject and object does not exist. In a world without the subject-object split, we are all an expression of the one. He further states that, “Consciousness cannot be accounted for in physical terms, for consciousness is absolutely fundamental”. On the same point, Max Planck says, “I regard consciousness as fundamental, I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” He further proclaims that consciousness is only one, singular identifiable with its universal source – Brahm (God) its temporal plurality is merely illusion.

One religion for all

In the absence of actual knowledge, God is different for different persons and for the same person on different occasions. The concept of one God for all foresees the idea of one religion for all that suits the whole human race. The Sant Nirankari Mission has succeeded in achieving this objective through a living revelation of Fatherhood of God, the central seed of all religions, ruling out any question of religious conversion. Mission asserts that God realisation is the only force, that is the mortar binding together the many-shaped bricks of human society into a coherent structure. This is the distinguishing feature of the Mission.

The religion, like the white light of heavens, stands broken into many coloured fragments by the prisms of men. The religion which was meant to be a binding force has lost its gravity and has in-itself started working as a dividing force, disturbing universal order and peaceful coexistence. Looking at the wide spread virus of religious terrorism, one feels bewildered to discover that it is not divided atom but divided mankind which is getting more difficult to deal with. The crisis that religious-terrorism has created at global level clearly indicates that religion, degenerated into ritualism, is dying out, the moral order is collapsing and materialistic approach also contributes to the destruction of human values and civilization.

Breakthrough occurs when there is a breakdown. It is amidst the wreckage of a collapsing order that the Sant Nirankari Mission, in harmony with science, has emerged with the banner of spiritual awakening founded on realization of “The Invisible Force”. A group of top scientists recently came round to the Intelligent Design Theory that the universe came into being not by random mutation and natural selection as suggested by Darwin, but by an Intelligent Design. They claim that anything which has structure and utility must have a designer who created it. At the heart of this new theory is the explanation that life results from the action of an Invisible Force, which is referred to in verse 1:1:16 of the Mundaka Upanisad:—

“That which is invisible, ungraspable, un-originated and attributeless,
That which has neither eyes, nor ears, nor hands, nor legs,
That is Eternal, full of manifestations, the source of all creations.”

In the layman’s language, the ‘Invisible Force or Intelligent Designer’ is none else but (God), realization of whom is the True Religion (Spiritual Awakening), as emphasized in the scriptures and by saints and sages down the ages. “The ideal oneness of the soul of man is oneness with the soul of universe”, and, “self of a man in a hut is as good as a person in a palace, “to achieve individual liberation and well-being of society”. “From the fullness of Brahman has come the fullness of the universe.” There is, infact, no conflict between science and religion. Both have identical aim of helping man grow individually and of ushering in a better social order. They go hand in hand when we talk of consciousness.

There is a single intelligent Consciousness that pervades the entire Universe – the Universal Mind.

It is all knowing, all powerful, all creative and always present. As it is present everywhere at the same time, it follows that it must also be present in you – that it is you. Your mind is part of the one Universal Mind. This is not simply a philosophical ideal passed down to us through the ages. It is an exact scientific truth. Know it, believe it, apply it and you will see your life transform in miraculous ways.

Albert Einstein told us that, “everything is energy”; that “a human being is a part of the whole called by us [the] Universe”. His words echoed the most ancient of spiritual and philosophical teachings and still underpin today’s cutting-edge scientific discoveries.

The Universal Mind goes by many names. In the scientific world we know of the Unified Field, in spiritual philosophy we refer to The All or Universal Consciousness and in religion we call upon God who Himself goes by many names – Jehovah, Allah and Brahman to mention but a few. The name is relevant only in so far as it resonates with you.

Each and every one of us is a manifestation of this single Universal Consciousness. There is profound truth in the ancient teaching that we are all One. We are all connected – not only to each other but also to all of Nature and to everything in the Universe.

Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the Spiritual Head of the Sant Nirankari Mission, says that “Life gets a meaning, if it is lived for others,”. It combines the theory of mutual relationship through spiritual awakening with the innate spirit of living for others. Thus, True Religion represents our love and worship of God in direct proportion to our dealings and doings with our fellow human beings. It is in this background we know that “Sant Nirankari Mission is an all-embracing world-wide religious, socio-spiritual and charitable Organization which preaches the concept of one Formless God (Nirankar) and believes that God can be realized only through the grace of the living Satguru (True Master).

The curves and contours of this definition of the Mission run harmoniously into the teachings of all the past prophets and globally accepted scriptures. The Mission finds its roots, proving similarity and congruency, in the vedic concept “Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam” Islamic dictum “Makhlook Sari Hai Kunba Khuda Ka” Biblical advice “Love thy neighbour as thyself, love thy enemy too” and Mission’s watchword “Sara Sansar Ek Parivar”, “World Without Walls”, and (The whole world is one family), enjoined by the bold message “Man is a Man when he is human. He is human when the entire mankind is his family. Mankind is his family when all pervading God is his home. God can be his home when he actually knows Him and blissfully identifieshimself with Him by living up to the teachings of the True Master (Satguru). Thus, the Sant Nirankari Mission has come to be known as the present milestone in the mainstream of spirituality. Holding aloft the banner of “Equality through Spirituality” and for wide range distinguished socio spiritual activities of the Mission has earned General Consultative Status from U.N.

Connect with unified consciousness (God) is normally understood as meditation. But it does not need any meditative process. It needs getting a connect with True Master (Satguru) who reveals God in a brief sitting. When Guru guides or directs a seeker, no spiritual technique is necessary. Arjuna did not meditate or do any practice. He just listened and accepted whatever Lord Krishna told him, with the combination of spoken words and practical hint of the Omnipresent God. Once we know and experience God, His remembrance becomes spontaneous and natural process. God is a spirit, those who want to love and worship Him, must know Him in spirit only. In Him we live, we move and exist. Our walking, talking, eating and sleeping in God would all turn meditative in true essence. Spirituality essentially means to “Know One, Believe in One and Become One. God is eternal, so the True Master (Satguru) who is said to be the oldest and newest on earth like day and night which have followed each other and are still ever new. (Athrava Veda 10:8:23). Humanity and spirituality go cheek by jowl. Identifying loss of human connection with God as the genesis behind inchoate cult of violence attributed to religion, which like the white light of heaven has split into multi-coloured sects and isms by human prisms, Mission is transforming the broken religion into white light of Heavenly Truth. Satguru’s word (God-Knowledge) has become the house-hold word and spreading at every place for all the persons, blossoming World Civilization in full spring! This way, Sant Nirankari Mission is making history.

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj blessed the devotees and seekers across many cities of Haryana and Rajasthan in the first week of March 2022. This was the first spiritual tour of Satguru Mata Ji after a long lapse of almost two years, during which large social and religious gatherings could not be held owing to the massive spread of corona virus across the world. Devotees in every city, town and village were seen overwhelmed with joy and loving devotion to seek an audience of their Lord Master. Though devotees arrived in huge numbers at every congregation but, still all Covid norms were observed as prescribed by the State and Central Govt. The cities of Hissar, Mandi Dabwali, Shriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Loharu and Jind were visited during this spiritual tour of Satguru Mata Ji. Rev. Ramit Ji, the revered spouse of Satguru Mata Ji also accompanied Her on this tour.

During the salvation tour, many congregations were held where many devotees expressed their thoughts through various hymns, speeches and poems. Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj also emphasized on the following points during Her discourses:

  1. We can attain a blissful state of mindful remembrance of Nirankar, even whilst we perform our regular worldly duties. This begins by receiving Brahmgyan and then leading a life based on Sewa, Simran and Satsang. The current scenario of the world is filled with fear and hatred, which can only be mitigated by love and peace.

  2. Those who remain connected to the Almighty God are empowered to stay above the impacts of joy and sorrow in life. It is the duty of those who are enlightened to share this spark of God Realization with others, who are still dwelling in the dungeon of Fear, Illusion and Desires.

  3. The company of saints helps us to stay away from vices like greed and ego. We have to serve humankind with whatever capability we have been granted by the Almighty God.

  4. True service is always selfless, with a realization that whatever we are sharing or giving is because of God’s grace. Sewa should not be done with any expectations in mind or with a sense of being the doer. It should also not be a means to show-off. Sewa should be done with a sense of gratitude and selfless surrender to the Formless Almighty God.

  5. In the current times, it is important for the youth to be watchful about what they watch on social media. We should follow only that content which gives positive growth to our spiritual and humanity quotient.

  6. The purpose of human life is self-realization through God Realization. Devotion is meaningful only when we identify with God in essence. When we realize God and connect through mindful remembrance, we acquire divine virtues like love, compassion, generosity and tolerance etc., which make our mind and life stable and blissful.

  7. The spirit of God is present in all beyond all prejudices and differences of caste, gender, color, language, nationality etc. The role of women has been remarkable in the spiritual canvas of humankind, as also that of the Mission.

  8. Relationships in our families can improve if we learn to listen to each other, understanding their feelings and accepting them without being judgmental.

  9. The entire world is our family. The Mission has been working to realize the motto of “Manav ko Manav ho pyara, Ik dooje ka bane sahara” (Let humans love and support each other).

  10. Humility is the virtue which is most important to adopt for an enlightened saint. It is with humility that we can serve others selflessly and also remain in blissful state of mind.

The journey also saw Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj bless devotees in many midway towns like Tohana, Boop gaon, Audaan, Sadul Shahr, Sangaria, Kheruwala, Hanumangarh town, Rawatsar, Nohar, Sardar Shahr, Pilani, Birla Instt. of Science, Brahmkumari Ashram, Legahn, Bhiwani, Gohana etc

Happiness is the universal quest and pursuit of every human being. We are  born happy as a child, but somehow struggle to hold on to this blissful state while  growing up. We do everything possible for attaining happiness in our life, right from  eating good food to wearing expensive clothes, from education to travelling across  the world, from owning a dream home to buying a comfortable car and much more.  Happiness still remains an elusive aspiration. Happiness has a different meaning  for different people, based on their desire and its fulfilment. Happiness that  comes from fruition of desires is temporary and ephemeral. One desire leads  to a second and the second leads to the third and so on, eventually becoming an  endless chain of expectations. But happiness continues to be a distant dream. The  reason lies in the fact that we don’t comprehend the substance and profoundness  of true happiness.

True happiness is a blissful state of mind which is characterized by stability  (Sthirta) and equanimity (Sehejta). The utopian state where there are no  attachments, enemies, illusions or fears; a state where expectations are replaced  with gratitude; animosity with love; fear and illusion with awareness. This, though it  may seem a task, is actually a very simple process which begins by connecting  with an entity that is eternally stable. The material world is ever-changing and the  changeless in this changing world is the one and only all-pervading, eternal,  permanent and formless One (Nirankar). Till the time we identify ourselves with  our body, mind and possessions, we are bound to be caught in the web of fear,  illusion, attachment and ego. We need to realize our true self by knowing the  Truth, which is a process of seeking and finding the vivid distinction between the  creator and the creation; eventually witnessing the creator in creation and the  creation in creator. This knowledge has been passed down the ages by various  saints and sages, who experienced the presence of the formless One, thereby  attaining eternal happiness and bliss. This realization and experience can be  achieved even today. Once we realize this most noble and highest Truth of life,  that we as souls are an essential part of the over-soul, the omnipresent,  omniscient and omnipotent formless One, we start moving on the path of  eternal happiness. Let us talk about this journey.

To begin with, we tend to take things for granted in our lives, expecting more and  more, which becomes a reason for our misery. Oxygen, for instance, was never  taken as serious a blessing as it was during its shortage during Covid-19. Meeting  friends and family, going to school for education, eating in a restaurant, all of this  became a distant possibility during the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead of expecting  more from life, we actually need to be thankful for the infinite gifts we already have.  Gratitude bestows immense happiness, both to the giver and the receiver  when offered with purity of heart. A simple ‘Thank You’ can transform a situation  or relationship diametrically. Service of mankind, when done with selflessness is a  natural outcome of gratitude. Gratitude should also not be with an expectation of

the greeting or gesture to be returned. Even if we offer a glass of water to  someone with gratitude and selflessness, seeing the essence of Nirankar in them,  it becomes a reason for bliss and joy. Gifting, sharing and caring are extremely  sublime and delightful acts. This kind of offering becomes Sewa (selfless service)  rather than invoking a feeling of ego or arrogance.

Just remind yourself about the last time you gave something to anybody and the  very thought will bring a smile on your face. Giving away is an inherent trait of  every part of nature, including humans. The sun, rivers, trees, earth and air, all  have been continuously providing us with their resources, without any expectation.  But we humans become selfish and enforce conditions while giving away even a  little bit of what we have and expecting much more in return. This is the reason for  our sorrow. This does not necessarily mean that we should not desire to grow in  life. It only means that after having performed a specific action, we should leave its  outcome to the divine verdict, stay content and be thankful for what we are  receiving. It means that growth is mutual and universal. We can’t expect to save  our home if our neighbour’s house is on fire.

The second aspect that disturbs our happiness is hatred and animosity with  others. The cause may lie in our judgements, assumptions or criticism; all of which  arise from our ego, a false sense of pride that is attached to ignorance of our true  self. When we become aware of our true identity, which is beyond our caste,  color, race, religion or nationality etc., all of the above vices vanish, giving  way to pure love and compassion. Judgements and assumptions are replaced  with ‘The benefit of the doubt’ outlook. We see ourselves in others, celebrating  diversity instead of creating walls and wars. A single ray of enlightenment can  transform a vagarious mind, which is habitually attached to the ephemeral world;  rendering it to become stable and aware, very much like a drop of rose essence  that can transform the fragrance of an entire pot of water. What seems huge and  unsolvable becomes tiny and irrelevant. Those who seem alien and opposite  become lovable. The perpetual mindful remembrance (Simran) of our eternal  source is the only way to stay in this blissful state. Simran paves the way of  being happy by feeding our mind with positive and happy thoughts. It does not  necessarily mean sitting in a meditative posture and chanting a name or a mantra.  Do we remind ourselves of our loved ones by sitting in a definite posture? As a  matter of fact, we simply don’t forget the ones we love. Likewise, once we come to  know and experience the formless One, we don’t need to remember it. Rather, we  would never ever forget it. Our walking, talking, eating and sleeping would all  turn meditative in essence

A conscientious soul further seeks the company of other enlightened souls  (Satsang), sharing and learning from each other’s divine experiences and  strengthening mutual faith and understanding. This three-fold formula of Sewa,  Simran and Satsang, after receiving enlightenment is a sure way to happiness and  bliss. Happiness does not lie in the outer world, achievements or  circumstances; it lies in our own vision and choice. If anyone can get us  happiness, then that is our own self. Herein lies the concept of self-love; of loving

ourselves not with selfishness, but with true understanding of the ‘self’. The ‘self’  that has its source in the formless omnipresent God, the ‘self’ that is beyond mind,  body and materialistic possessions. Once this realization is established, we can  nurture our mind, body and possessions without getting attached to them. This  magical vision of detached attachment is the way to true happiness, also  enunciated explicitly by various saints and sages. We, as children remain in this  state for most of the time, but as we grow up, the conditioning (Samskaras) by the  world around us traps us, leaving little room for the survival of our ‘inner-child’.  Thus, if we want to remain happy, we need to forget and forgive like a child. We  need to sing and dance like a child.

Another reason for human worry and anxiety is fear and illusion. The fear of  disease, death, failure or penury etc. and the illusions of our identity, our life and  its objective. Once again, these can be overcome with the light of knowledge.  When one realizes that death, disease and ageing etc. are inevitable parts of  human life and that our life is just a drop in the ocean of our eternal existence

then, fear disappears. A rope can induce fear in darkness, because its shadow  might appear to be a snake to someone, causing illusion. But, as soon as there is  light and the truth is evident; there is no fear or illusion. Fear is a result of  ignorance. Awareness and enlightenment dispel all kinds of fear.

When the boat of our mind is wavering in the ocean called life, it can be provided  stability by anchoring it to the Truth. This stability translates into Happiness.

Greed and selfishness can give us only superficial happiness, that too only  for a little time. Rather, the final outcome on this path is always regressive and  baneful. Lasting happiness can be achieved by realizing and following the path of  Truth, which can be prolonged and challenging, but most certainly, blissful and  rewarding.

The object of happiness can be achieved through Practical Spirituality.  Spirituality essentially means to ‘Know One, Believe in One and Become  One’. Practical Spirituality means to live Oneness, by humbly surrendering every  action to Nirankar and establishing Oneness in the world through selfless service  of all. We saw how humanity came together during the Covid crisis and people  across the world came in support of each other surpassing all differences, be it  caste, creed, color, religion or nationality. It was a sort of reminder, that we might  metaphorically have our individual identities as leaves, fruits, branches or flowers  of a tree called humanity, but our fundamental identity is that of a tree; with our  root being Nirankar. None of us can survive in isolation. We might be different, but  are essentially One. Being One is the gateway to Happiness. Let’s hope, pray  and work to ensure that it does not take another pandemic to make us  realize that there is Happiness in Oneness.

To summarize, realization of the Truth makes our mind stable and  equipoised, leading to eternal happiness. Happiness is not to regret, rather  learn from our past and not worry, instead work for our future. Happiness is to

stay in the present moment with awareness, acceptance and gratitude.

Happiness is to be free, yet in control; to reach for the sky, yet be  grounded. Happiness is to float instead of swimming in the ocean of life.  Happiness is to be One with One.

– Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj

Kindly note that telecast of discourses of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj on Colors TV (Saturdays at 6:00 A.M.) is being discontinued from 1st November, 2021. Presently, the telecast of discourses on Epic TV (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 A.M.) will continue. Other changes will be shared in due course.

Here are the life changing messages of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, as blessed by Her Holiness on the occasion of Sunday Virtual Satsang held on 10th October, 2021.

1. The Almighty Formless God is present in each particle but, remains elusive and invisible till we attain the divine vision. After the realization of God, nothing else actually remains unseen.

2. After receiving Brahmgyan, each soul begins its own spiritual journey. Some embellish it with loving devotion, while some are drifted towards vanity of Gyan itself. Some visualise God in everyone, whilst some keep looking at their watch sitting in Satsang.

3. Devotion depends upon what kind of faith we have. Do we hold onto faith only till the time things are falling in place as per our wishes; or do we start complaining to God when the results are not in sync with our wishes? True devotees do not carry such a faith. They accept the will of Nirankar unconditionally.

4. Faith does not mean that we refrain from action. A teacher motivates his students before exams telling them to focus on whatever they have prepared for, having faith on themselves.

5. Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj gave the profound maxim of ‘Godfidence before Confidence’.  So, we need to do our deeds and also have complete faith in God.

6. Those who kept faith in God have been able to overcome ‘mountain-like’ challenging situations in life. But, at the juxtapose we also come across people who pray to God for misfortune and ill to those with whom they have some animosity. Such people are actually digging pits for themselves.

7. A prayer should be with a pure heart and pious intentions. Just as two swords cannot be present in one sheath; prayer and judgement can’t exist together. Such ill-intended actions can lead to guilt and remorse, which continue to agonise us for everyone.

8. Rather than carrying the weight of judgements and criticism in our mind, it is better to stay light with unconditional faith in God. This will certainly keep us mentally healthy too.

9. May the Almighty Nirankar bless everyone to work for the good of humanity. We can make this life fruitful, only with deeds that are driven by positive faith and intention.

Rajasthan: Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Barmer, Ajmer and Bhilwaraa Zones

Here are some life changing messages from the holy discourse of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, as delivered during the virtual Samagam of Rajasthan held on 29th September.

1. The message behind the stage clearly mentions that each moment and each era can become beautiful, if our life is beautiful. This beauty of life can be attained by self improvisation through God Knowledge and Sewa, Simran, Satsang. All illusions and superstitions are replaced with a divine vision that enables us to see good, hear good and do good in life.

2. Even when we know the path and process, life can become beautiful only if we intend to do so; making a willful choice. A door, we all know, opens by pressing down the handle and pushing it. But, if we keep pulling it towards ourselves, it won’t open for sure. Also, even if we press down the handle and push it as per the directions, we might lose the chance to go to the other side; if the door is locked or bolted (metaphorically by our ego and ignorance). The door maybe made of glass, wherein, the other side is visible but, to get the things on the other side, we have to open the door and reach that side. Likewise, if we do not walk the talk; following Gyan in our life, it is of no substantial use.

3. Saints remain in bliss, and spread happiness among others too. They keep themselves away from criticism, judgements and unnecessary gossip. When we see Nirankar in everyone, how can we then find faults in them? If we can forgive our own mistakes then, why not those of others.

4. The material attractions consume the human mind so much that one goes to every possible extent to fulfill that desire, even if it takes using unfair means. When consciousness alerts about the wrong doing then, humans very cleverly find excuses and quash the call.

5. The material gains of the world give ephemeral happiness. Their attraction fizzles out after a while, and then the person regrets having lost much precious things in lieu of fulfilling these temporary desires, which presumably also digress us towards wrong doing.

6. We get self consumed in the world and forget that there are other people also in our home or office. The momentary pleasure of watching a TV show or watching something on our mobile, keeps us devoid of the joy that our long lasting relationships can give. Our focus in gadgets etc is so strong that we don’t care to return back basic courtesies to someone who is talking to us.

7. Material things are not to be abandoned but, we need to learn to maintain a balance in life. We have to set our priorities right. Every act should be accompanied with awareness. Seeing Nirankar in all, we should become large hearted. When the connect is from the heart then, we can hear someone even before they speak. Giving happiness renders more joy to us.  We get delighted to see each other. As the Holy Avtar Bani explains that “a devotee gets overwhelmed to meet and greet another devotee”. May Nirankar bless everyone with smiles and may every heart exhilarate with love.

Here is the gist of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj’s discourse, as blessed during Sunday’s virtual Satsang on 19th September, 2021.

1. In every situation, a disciple upholds human values and imbibes them in life. Even if someone takes advantage of his goodness; he does not give up. But, he makes them consciously realize that although he understands everything, still he will not leave the path of goodness.

2. Human values and Sewa, Simran and Satsang carve us like a diamond. Saints always talk about the balanced path . They stay away from the extreme. Unlike the pendulum of a clock, they don’t oscillate and in fact maintain a balance, with the support of God (Nirankar).

3. There was a king, who renounced his royal kingdom, took refuge of a Guru and adopted a spiritual path. The Guru explained to him to restrict his desires. Seeing the other disciples, he also tries to stay restrained. If others fasted for one day, the king would fast for two days. If they walked barefoot, the king would walk barefoot on the stones. When the Guru saw this he explained not to get into extreme. To hurt oneself is not devotion; we should not pretend to be solitary. Body, mind and wealth are gift of the Lord, we need to take care of these and should stay away from attachment and extremes .

4. Many a times there is a situation in the house while explaining something to someone; we say, now we are done with it; now we will not explain further to this person. The path of goodness is tough. It takes time to improve someone but, we should continue doing good. Taking help of God (Nirankar), we should continue to keep ourselves calm.

5. Many musical instruments which have strings; if they are tightened too much, the sound and tone do not sound right; some strumming sound comes. Even if the strings are left loose; no notes will be heard. It has to be tightened in an appropriate way. Similarly, relationships should be handled with dignity.

6. Ups and downs and problems are part of life. If we fall on a cement floor, the injury will be more and if we fall on a mattress or grass, the injury will be less. Similarly, if we take help of God and use human values then, we shall not feel troubled or restlessness under any circumstance .

7. To stay in company of God (Nirankar) and do Simran, does not mean that we should quit everything. We have also been asked in the fourth pledge, to fulfill our duties towards our family, society and country etc. We have to make our character fragrant with human values.

Canada (West): Calgary; Edmonton; Winnipeg; and Regina

Here is the gist of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj’s discourse, as blessed during the virtual Samagam of Canada (West), held on 17th September, 2021

1. The realisation of Almighty God makes every moment of our life joyous, as it has seeds of acceptance of the Divine Will.

2. Enlightened beings focus on the good in others. Our vision should have divinity after receiving the Brahmgyan. A pot of simple water turns fragrant, even if we add a few drops of rose water in it. Likewise, our mind exhibits divine conscientiousness after enlightenment.

3. Talking about a Rose, we think about its red colour, its softness and fragrance. We don’t think about its thorns at the outset. We eat fruits by discarding their peel and seeds etc. Do we throw away a banana, simply because it has a useless peel? Do we stop using a laptop, for the fact that it might attract some virus? No! Everything and every person has both a positive and a negative side to them. All we have to do is focus on the good.

4. A magnet attracts iron, where ever it is. It does not attract a cloth or a stone. Similarly, a saint attracts only goodness in the world. While looking at people or circumstances, we should use the filter of Nirankar, so that the mind remains protected from negativities.

5. A novice swimmer splashes more water and swims with lesser perfection that a seasoned swimmer. We also start throwing unnecessary and useless blames and comments on others, whilst focusing on their faults . Our ego drives us to this state. At times, some athletes claim that they will defeat their opponent in the upcoming event. But, usually when such players loose, they blame destiny rather than accepting their low performance or incompetence. Our mind, likewise, first falls prey to ego and then makes excuses.

6. Happiness does not lie in the outer circumstances, rather in our own inner decisions. If anyone can change our state of mind, then it is only ourselves. It is thus said, “The only competition we should have is with ourself.” We, thus, have to improve ourself only.

7. When we see others, we start to see their shortcomings; to the extent that we don’t stop this behaviour even when we are alone. Even while being alone, we don’t introspect to change ourself and improve upon our mistakes, remaining focused on the external world. Only mindful remembrance of Nirankar can take us towards actual transformation. We should always thank God for His creation and His grace.

8. When we focus on the vices in others, very soon those vices become a part of our behaviour. A child who use to blame his parents for being stubborn, was blamed by his friend similarly, with the words,” You are also stubborn like your parents.” We become what we see in others and think about others.

9. We have to weigh ourselves in the scale which keeps our focus on the good in others and the shortcomings in ourself.
