Our Samagam is Here

Where happiness is limitless,

Where the mind is always clear,

Look alive, experience the bliss,

Our Festival, Our Samagam is here.

Where we submerge our souls,

In the congregation of our Master.

Where, by the opportunity of Seva,

Our bodies get stronger and faster.

Where each mind experiences,

This God-Realisation so dear.

Look alive, experience the bliss,

Our Festival, Our Samagam is here.

Where all fears and anxiety are lost,

In Her vast everlasting presence.

Where all sorrows and anger dissolve,

Replaced with Her divine effervescence.

Where lessons of humanity and spirituality,

With her blessings, are always near.

Look alive, experience this bliss,

Our festival, Our Samagam is here.

Where happiness is limitless,

Where the mind is always clear,

Look alive, experience the bliss,

Our Festival, Our Samagam is here.

There’s a quote:

‘Volunteers are not paid—not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.’

Selfless service is integral to devotion; it reflects surrender and love towards the Almighty. Selfless service is an unconditional act rendered with great humility and compassion towards mankind.

Nirankari Sant Samagam is synonymous with selfless service – ‘of the people, by the people, for the people’. Every devotee comes here to improve themselves and serve fellow beings. This contributes to achieving their purpose of life by living a life of purpose.

‘Serving man is worshipping God’ is one of the mottos of the Sant Nirankari Mission. The essence of this motto is ‘selfless service is not about helping others, but a humble responsibility of every devotee—because there are no others’. This is the secret of how they serve with a smile. 😊

There had been a question raised long ago to a saint. A person had asked that how was it possible for such a big crowd to sit and attend this congregation in such peace and discipline. The saint replied by saying that “every person attending this event comes with an intention of being a host rather than the guest”.

The feeling of oneness and unity that is within every saint through this Almighty God is the reason for the cordial and surrendered behaviour of theirs.

Imagine an ideal world – a world without walls. It’s a world where everyone lives blissfully in harmony, regardless of their religion, cast, creed, color, culture or status.

People are bound together by the universal language of love. In this world each one holds utmost compassion for everyone else, eager to serve all every moment. Respect and humility are the foundation here. An endless flow of humanness – this is the ‘Nirankari Sant Samagam’. An ideal world that comes alive every year lending hope to humanity.

NIRANKARI SAMAGAMS

The gathering of Mission’s devotees in large numbers periodically to celebrate the essence of enlightenment; also intending to share it with other brothers and sisters across the world is what we know as Samagam. Nirankari Samagams have become synonymous with selfless service, discipline, togetherness along with spiritual and ethical discourse, everything contributing to manifest a blissful festival of brotherhood in the most quintessential way. In no uncertain terms, these Samagams are microcosms of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, which literally means ‘The whole world is our family’. The family-like feeling is so vividly evident at these Samagams, that even the one-time visitors are left beaming with, both surprise and joy after witnessing the spirit of oneness that grips these hubs of spiritual bliss. The presence of Satguru at the Samagams makes it a divine celebration of sorts, wherein devotees are filled with spiritual rapture on receiving the ‘Darshan’ (audience) of their master. It is a wonderful platform where devotees not only reinforce their understanding and faith on ‘Gyan’ (God-Knowledge), but also take time to self-introspect and analyse their own journey on the path of righteousness.

ANNUAL SANT SAMAGAM

Having started in 1948 under the divine aegis of Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji, the Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam has come a long way. From a small gathering of merely a few hundred back then, this festival of love and oneness today witnesses an overwhelming participation by around a million devotees from across the world. The annual samagam has seen a change in venue from Nirankari Colony to Idgah to Ram Lila Grounds to the backside of Lal Qila to large grounds of Burari and now presently being held at Mission’s own massive land at Samalkha, Haryana. The yearning for the upcoming Annual Samagam begins immediately after the conclusion of the previous Samagam. Devotees participate in sewa of various kinds, months before the samagam is held. The Satguru blesses the samagam with opening of the Samagam Sewa around a month before the declared dates. The annual samagam, which virtually takes the shape of a small city usually in the month of November each year, is characterized with huge congregations, Sewadal Rally, General Body Meeting, Shobha Yatra and Guru Vandana programs. The beauty of this Samagam lies in the organic merger of various languages and cultures through a variety of media including speeches, hymns, poems, skits and dances. Free community kitchen along with many subsidized canteens serve quality food throughout the day and night. Other facilities include free medical help, railway and flight ticket booking, ATMs and publications etc. The exhibition centre is another attraction for the visitors, showcasing history, ideology and the journey of the mission and its masters.

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj blessed the devotees and many God loving people during the Manav Kalyan Yatra of Gwalior, Indore, Bhopal, Sagar, Katni, Rewa, Satna, Jabalpur, Bilaspur, Raipur and Rajnandgaon of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from March 19th to 31st. New Satsang Bhawans were inaugurated at Ujjain, Sehore, Bairagarh, Damoh, Rewa, Satna and Sihora, while Satsang programmes were organized in Satsang Bhawans at Sagar, Katni, Jabalpur and Rajnandgaon. Rev. Ramit Chandna Ji, esteemed spouse of Satguru Mata Ji also accompanied Her on this tour.

During Her discourses Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj emphasized on the following points:-

1. Being in God realization every moment can make life easy and simple. When Nirankar is realized by the knowledge of Brahmgyan then, real devotion starts in the right form. Being imbued in the colors of devotion every moment makes life blissful and there is no place for any negative feelings in life.

2. Saints conveyed the message to keep our hearts full of equanimity towards everyone while living a life with the spirit of communion. The pollution of ego present in the mind only harms it. We should live life in the realization of Nirankar every moment and whatever the situation may be, we should live happily by living in His will. Only then one can lead a life full of selfless loving devotion.

3. One should live a life full of human qualities, adopting a sense of interest towards everyone welfare and be a source of inspiration to all by emitting fragrance like flowers. We should be in devotion while adopting Sewa, Simran and Satsang in a simple and easy way. This state is possible only with the knowledge of God and realizing it every moment; along with being in devotion in a conscious state.

4. God is eternal, infinite and our soul is a part of it and the existence of the body is not real. When there is realization of the Supreme Being, it remains as a constant feature in our life. The devotee, while fulfilling the worldly responsibilities is in devotion in an easy way and wishes good for the welfare of humanity.

5. To get information about this Supreme Being during our life time is the ultimate goal of a human life. Leaving negative feelings and adopting the spirit of equanimity, one should live a life of loving devotion, as this is the best devotion.

6. Man is identified only by his divine qualities and these qualities make him superior than, all other species hence, we have to live a life of saintlyhood while imbibing virtues.

7. In the present time, there is a need of being large hearted and renouncing narrow mindedness. God is the ultimate Truth, the rest of the worldly things are fleeting therefore, life becomes easy by connecting with God.

8. Where there is a sense of ego, there is no abode of Nirankar therefore, to make Nirankar dwell in our hearts, we have to shun our ego. We should see Nirankar in everyone and accept their good and bad alongwith extending love towards all.

9. When we fall in love with God, we also fall in love with His creation. Devotion is a divine journey in which faith has a vital place. Faith can be further strengthened by following the path of devotion.

10. Virtues can be imbibed in life only with the company of saints because every moment of life automatically becomes blissful after attaining God Knowledge then the feelings of sorrow and happiness do not affect life.

11. Man is leaving behind spirituality in the glare of worldly things because his desires, longings are of paramount importance; Maya continues to affect him every moment. He is wasting every moment in vain while leading a selfish life because whatever is bestowed upon him is enough to live in a happy and blissful state.

The cities of Agra, Morena, Guna, Biaora, Ujjain, Sehore, Bairagarh, Vidisha, Damoh, Rampur, Maihar, Sihora, Mandla, Bilha, Chakrabhata, Bhatapara, Tilda Durg and Bhilai were visited enroute to Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh which covered a journey of about 4 thousand kilo meter. There was no official program but, Satguru Mata Ji provided an opportunity to the devotees to seek blessings.
