English Samagam in Toronto

On Saturday, March 19th,2016, the Sant Nirankari Mission Toronto branch hosted an English Samagam. Saints of all ages participated individually and in groups by performing poems, songs and motivational speeches. Sharing their experiences and thoughts they as a whole reminisced in the teachings of our Satguru.

The evening was filled with bliss. The motivational speeches, songs, poems were used to keep a constant connection to the Formless creator. Speakers also took us back to NIS1 with NIS1 Anthem song and all the memories were fresh again. The evening was indeed about the journey from NIS1 to NIS2 that is Oneness to Humanness.

As someone rightly said, “We cannot grow spiritually if we ignore the humanness, just as we cannot become fully human if we ignore our spirituality."

Human qualities were the topics that the speakers chose to share with the congregation .The importance of positivity, love, tolerance, respect, humility were emphasized. As His Holiness says:

 "To be human is to be humble,

To be humble is to be divine."
