Report of Manav Ekta Divas, Sant Nirankari Mission, MN Year 2010

We observed Manav Ekta Divas on April 25, 2010 in the memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj in the main hall of Eastside Neighborhood Services, Minneapolis from 3:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.

We put congregation information on a local website, distributed flyers in shops, sent letters by USPS, made an announcement on the radio and also spread the word through phones calls to all local saints in the first week of April 2010. We started planning on how we would make this day successful since March by getting suggestions from our local saints.

The hall was decorated with banners and the publication table was filled with literature, DVD’s, CD’s and pictures of our Sant Nirankari Mission and Baba ji. One flyer was posted at the entrance of this hall.

The first hour from 3:00p.m.to 4:00p.m.was kept for the food donations, all the local saint and saints from Delhi who came to visit Minneapolis participated in this program and donated non-perishable food items. The donation was made to Eastside Neighborhood Services, which dedicated to helping new immigrants and seniors within the community. The management of Eastside Neighborhood Services was very appreciative of the donation.

After the Avtar Bani, the first speaker was Rev. Rajan Bir ji who talk about the life of Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj and explained the 5 principals of our Mission. Other saints Rev. Our Saints Bahin Prakash Devi, Bahin Pritam Kaur, Bahin Bhupinder Arora, also express their feelings and recalled the past incidents of Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Mahraj on that day. The hall was filled with about 40 saints.

Rev. Mohan Khanna addressed the saints (audience) and stressed that we follow the path of truth and encouraged everyone to get this light of truth with the blessings of Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj. Also he added, that we should make sure we do not leave anyone unlighted in the universe who could eliminate any Satguru or real saint in future.
