'Mayor of Knox & AusRedCross honours Nirankari Volunteers at Spiritual Liberation Day 2010'

SNM Melbourne marked the Spiritual Liberation Day (Mukti Parv) on 15th August 2010 with utmost devotion and delight.
Honourable Joe Casseri, Mayor of Knox City Council
was invited as a guest to share this day
with the saints and the festivities at SNM-Melbourne.

We were fortunate to have Rev. Gurnam Singh Ji, Pramukh � SNM Dubai who presided at this
special satsang/congregation and encouraged everyone to contribute more towards selfless service.

Our kind supporter Mr Vasan Srinivasan � President, Federation of Indian Associations of Victoria
also graced the occasion alongwith Mrs Krishna Arora � Deputy Director, Community Services.
They really appreciated the community activities of the mission promoting welfare for all mankind.

Hon. Mayor presented certificates to the Blood Donation Donors who donated their blood and assisted
Australian Red Cross Blood Service in organising the 15th Blood Donation Drive in May 2010. He then expressed
his humble appreciation towards all the saints of SNM-Melbourne and congratulated mission for the work done
by the volunteers in uplifting the zeal for contributing towards the Australian Community.

Community Relations officials from Australian Red Cross Blood Service at Mount Waverley
Mr David Macdermott and Mr Duncan Reynolds thanked SNM Melbourne for their active participation
and especially expressed their gratitude towards a significant number of Plasma donors.

Mr. Rowan Harman of R Harman Associates - Mission's Accounts Auditor
attended the presentation and congratulated all members for promoting community welfare.

Mr Anil Sharma from �India At Melbourne� newspaper was also present supporting the volunteers
and interacting with the special guests to report the event accordingly.

Everyone thanked His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji for his kind teachings
which enable everyone to contribute their efforts towards community service.
