Clean Up Australia Day - 01 Mar 2015


135 volunteers from Sant Nirankari Mission Melbourne (SNMM) gathered to
participate in the Clean-Up drive on the occasion of “Clean Up Australia Day”
organised by SNM on 1st March 2015 at its premises (Bhawan) at 1377 Stud Road, Rowville.
The drive started at around 9am and went on for almost 3 hours.
Cleaning was carried out over the massive area within and around the Bhawan vicinity.
Great enthusiasm was witnessed among the volunteers while carrying out the cleaning.
Children and Women Volunteers from the mission also took active participation.
Lots of bags of rubbish were filled up as the outcome of the drive.
The drive was organised under the motto “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”
Mission is keen on giving its message that the world should have a green,
pollution-free environment and with a right ecological balance
so that man can breathe and live comfortably.

Sant Nirankari Mission, Melbourne branch makes valuable contribution towards
serving community in various ways.
Clean-up drive is one of the various initiatives undertaken by Mission on regular basis,
among others includes Blood Donation, Tree Plantation,
Multicultural Harmony Festivals, Women empowerment and many others.

was welcomed at the Victorian Parliament
where members while honouring His Holiness recognised and appreciated
the contribution of the Mission in various social activities
which are beneficial to the communities and particularly highlighted the
participation of youth in such activities with great enthusiasm and discipline.
Mission believes in preparing the young generation with its simple
and practical teachings for the future to create a better society
which can live with and reflect the oneness.
