"Aston Community Award 2014"

Sant Nirankari Mission, Melbourne was honored by Federal Member of Parliament,
Hon Alan tudge MP (Parliamentary Sect to PM) at the
Aston Award 2014 held on 29th August at Knox City - Victoria.

SNM Melbourne received a certificate at the ceremony
being 'Finalist' in Community Group Achievement Award category.

Mr Tudge appreciated the efforts of volunteers of Nirankari Mission
who always prove their selfless service by participating in community activities in Victoria.


The Aston Community Awards celebrate local volunteers, businesses and community groups
who give their time, skill and energy to helping others and making the Knox community a better place to live.

Mr Tudge said that he is pleased to be able to honour the hard work
of local Knox volunteers, which all too often goes unnoticed.

“We have some outstanding volunteers in our community,
and the Aston Community Awards are a chance to recognise them,” said Mr Tudge.

“It is important that we properly thank these individuals for all of their work.”

Mr Tudge said that the Aston Community Awards will recognise local volunteers in five categories:
Youth Volunteer Achievement Award, Individual Volunteer Achievement Award,
Community Group Achievement Award,
Business Achievement Award and Senior Volunteer Achievement Award.
