A Society that Embraces All

Introduction:
This article discusses how the inclusion of different communities in the community fosters healthy relationship building, thereby, promoting the overall well-being of the society. The Sant Nirankari Mission is playing its part by welcoming different groups and learning from them. This can be only done through a fundamental understanding of the Brahmgyaan.

Every creation in this world is a creation of the Almighty Nirankar. Everyone deserves the freedom to live their life as they please and love whoever they want. It is important for people to feel comfortable being themselves and expressing their true identity. Everyone has the right to pursue their own happiness and find love in their own way. Imagine a world where everyone was free to be themselves without any fear of judgment or discrimination. It would be a beautiful and diverse place, full of unique individuals living their lives to the fullest.

Continued polarization on the pretext of religion, country, caste, and other such divisions in society limits the threads of inclusion and prospers animosity between people. Saints, over the years, have continued to build a connection with the holy scriptures and literature from different religions. The inferences made from such sacred books in the form of recitals and speeches allude towards relationship building and finding common ground between different groups in society. All these different spiritual groups are like beads of a necklace that ultimately get woven into the priceless piece of jewel that our Universe adorns.

The Pride community has come a long way in terms of societal acceptance, but there are still many challenges that members of this community face when it comes to relationships. Heteronormativity is a major issue that can make it difficult for LGBTQ+ individuals to express themselves and form meaningful relationships without facing discrimination, harassment, and even violence. The prejudice in society is that everyone is heterosexual and that relationships should only occur between people of different genders, can be oppressive and can make LGBTQ+ individuals feel isolated and misunderstood. This can lead to feelings of shame and guilt, as well as a sense of being different or abnormal. LGBTQ+ individuals have the same capacity for love and intimacy as anyone else, and they deserve the same opportunities to form fulfilling relationships.

The fundamental understanding of Brahmgyaan teaches us how Universal Brotherhood is the key to happy living. Baba Gurubachan Singh Ji during his time discussed how unity must not be mistaken as unanimity. We don’t have to look alike and do things the same way as others do. The requirement for free living is to understand the concept of Unity in Diversity. Such understanding is manifested by consciously working towards Practical Spirituality that comes as a result of attaining God-knowledge.

A society where the knee-jerk reaction of all the people is to respect, love and not judge each other is the one that will continue to flourish in the laps of blissful times. The heyday of this era is around the corner if we roll up our sleeves and get down to work on doing that at an individual level. So, let us work towards creating a society that celebrates individuality and embraces love in all its forms.
