“Kids are the seeds of the Blooming Flowers of tomorrow. They are the soul of love. Since they are precious, they symbolize love and truth, let’s be like them. They keep us away from pains.” These were the words of the welcome speech by Rev Payal Pal on the eve of Eastern Bal Samagam on May 19th 2012 held in Toronto, Canada. Children in the age group of 4-13 years from Toronto, Barrie and Montreal, actively contributed and participated in this Samagam to make it a grand success and an inspiring example. Theme of this Bal Samagam was “Blooming Flowers of Tomorrow.”
The Bal Samagam started with beautiful bhajan from Avtar Bani “Mere sajno ral mil aayo.” The first presentation was a Butterfly Song by young kids in which kids imitated different animals and thanked God for making them “Me” (Humans). There were various cultural events based on spirituality, including devotional songs, couple of skits namely “Laughter is a medicine of soul” and “Unity in Diversity”, Kavi Darbar on theme “Phool Khiley Bahar Baney, Sewa Satsang Simran wale upvan mein humesha hi bahaar rahe”, Antakshri (a song quiz) based on AvtarBani, devotional music and dances by little kids etc. They all showed the message of universal brotherhood, love, peace, tolerance and social reformation. The whole Satsang hall was decorated with flowers and inspirational words, all creations of little saints.
On this occasion a special exhibition was also organized with the theme of “Blooming Flowers”. It depicted how “Sewa”, “Simran” and “Satsang” can provide blooming garden of flowers in everyone’s life in this material world. It had many attractive hand crafted models based on this theme and were created by children with the help of their parents.

She continued that kids are going on right path. Parents contribute by bringing kids to Bal Satsang, encouraging Simran and doing Sewa. She expressed that at Satsang we have so much to learn, little saints should take the ideas expressed in Bal Samagam out and help other people with it. Blooming flowers has so much to see in the World and all little saints should attend Satsang attentively as one can find all answers to their questions in Satsang and study of Avtar Bani.
