Walk For Values

Nirankari Mission (SNM) Toronto regulaly participates in The Walk for Values, to raise awareness of positive human values.  The important aspect of this event is that people from all walks of life march together raising the level of human commitment towards universal human values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Non-Violence that transcend barriers of race, religion, culture and ethnicity; and more importantly, to bring attention to the urgent need to practice them in our community and halt the social and environmental ills that impoverish our lives and spirit. Unlike other walks, there is no monetary pledge made in the walk; rather people make a pledge or commitment to practice a value of their choice.

CIBC Run for the Cure

Every effort makes a difference. Kindness, compassion and selfless service are the tools of a true devotee. It is with this mentality that the members from SNM Toronto take stride to support the CIBC Run for the Cure in October every year.

The CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada's largest single day, volunteer-led, fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education and awareness programs. Each year, thousands of Canadians of all ages and walks of life unite to participate in the Run.  Although, their reasons for participating vary, they all have the same goal; to create a future without breast cancer and to support their community for the sake of humanity.

SNM Branches around Canada take part in the 5km walk/run and are registered under the umbrella National SNM team, SNM-Universal Brotherhood. The efforts of the saints from the various Canadian branches illustrate how real benefits to humanity are made through unification. It is this unification, which distinguishes the Sant Nirankari Mission as a caring and all embracing entity.
