SNM-FortLauderdale Booth at Divali Nagar Annual Mela

The Fort Lauderdale branch set up a publication booth at the 6^th Annual Divali Nagar Mela 2013 held at Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale on Oct 27, 2013. An estimated 5,000 people attended the event. Most of the West-Indian organizations and Associations participated in this event. The event consisted of a cultural program, vendor booths and a traditional food court.

Free literature and Cds were given out to everyone who came to the booth. Information about the local sangat was also given out. Volunteers from the local sadh sangat managed the booth in the all-day event and awareness about the Mission’s ideology was given out. Saints came in and spent the day there and also participated in spreading the Holy message.

A blood drive was also organized in conjunction with Community Blood Bank of Fort Lauderdale. 15 people registered and 8 people were able to successfully donate 8 pints of blood.
