Food Drive and Mask Donation

May-June 2020

The CoronaVirus pandemic has left the entire world in a state of helplessness. With billions affected due to this grave disease, the Sant Nirankari Mission stepped forward to help communities across the world. From feeding the hungry to distributing masks, sanitizers, supplies and donating blood, the Sant Nirankari Mission has served humanity in almost every country across the globe.

With the grace of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, Fort Lauderdale Branch in Florida, USA was also blessed with the opportunity to serve the community in the fight against COVID-19.

Volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Mission organized a Food Drive on May 29th and donated Food, Hygiene items along with the Masks to the Broward Outreach Center for the Homeless. The Outreach Center thanked the Mission for the selfless contribution and appreciated the effort.

In addition to the Food Drive, Branch also donated 2000 masks to the City of Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety on June 1st. The City Officials will be distributing the masks to Assisted Living Facilities for frail and vulnerable senior citizens who are in need of protecting themselves. The City department will also be using the masks for the Homeless and those in need.

People across the world have been suffering from financial setbacks and a decline in their mental well being. Millions have suffered medically and the death toll has been rising at an alarming rate. We pray to Satguru Mata Sudiksha ji Maharaj to bless the entire humanity during this pandemic and bring life back to normal for everyone.
