Clothing Donations and Feeding the Homeless - Broward Outreach Center

There is a segment of society that is often overlooked and forgotten; which is, the Homeless people.
We often forget that regardless of their circumstances, there exists the same soul in everyone and that our Satguru is here to bless them all as well. "Satguru aundaay duniya utte, saarey hi sansaar layee. Satguru aundaay duniya utte, kewal par-upkaar layee."
With the objective of spreading love and taking our Satguru's blessings to the Homeless, the Fort Lauderdale chapter of Sant Nirankari Mission, collected Clothing donations from the community and donated 355 lbs of clothes and shoes to Broward Outreach Center in Pompano Beach, Florida on July 1st 2016. This was the second time such donations were collected, the first time being during Christmas in 2016.
The first time, a lot of effort was made to reach out into the community and spread the word to collect these donations. However, 6-7 months later, when this Social Welfare activity was decided, word spread around and people from the community reached out to the local SNM chapter and donations started pouring in.
When the Clothing donations were delivered on July 1st, 2017, the local members also fed lunch to the homeless on the same day. Approximately 130 homeless people were fed in segments of Men, Women & Women with Children. This was the third time the local SNM chapter fed the homeless at this Shelter.
We hope and pray in the feet of Satguru Mataji to bless all humanity with her divine grace.
