A lot of people from the community came in and the conference started and ended with a meditation session. It was a day full of enlightenment and empowerment. The speakers focused on how God-consciousness can improve the quality of life. They discussed how a close spiritual connection can lead to the betterment of one’s personal life and the society as a whole. There was also a session on legal advice for financial security of women.

Furthermore, a presentation was made by a young South Asian Woman on the Issues faced by Women of Ethnic Origin and how they could survive in dual cultures and balance their day-to-day lives between both cultures.
