Rajmataji Oneness Exhibition Competition

Children are the pillars of the future and their upbringing, determines what kind of a world we can anticipate for tomorrow. The Fort Lauderdale chapter participated in the National Rajmataji Exhibition Competition by collaborating with South Florida Hindu Temple. This was an initiative to bring awareness on humanity amongst the children in which the youngsters could express their creativity through Projects and models. The Balvihar children of South Florida Hindu Temple in Davie showcased an immensely impressive exhibition and explained their projects and the inspiration behind their projects. There were 3 themes chosen for these projects: A World Without Walls, Harmony In Oneness & Peace not Pieces.

First three prizes were chosen in two categories: Seniors & Juniors. The Competition was done at the local level after which the 1st prize winners in both the categories, entered the National Rajmataji Oneness Exhibition Competition.

Children created impressive projects and left an impact on every one’s mind. A total of 14 entries were received which was the maximum number of participants from any single branch.

Fort Lauderdale chapter was also fortunate to have received the first prize in the Junior Category in the National Competition. Kosha Patel: a student of the Balvihar program received a cash prize of $500.00 from the USA Social Welfare Department. Acknowledgements and Certificates were given out to the participants at the Fort Lauderdale chapter’s annual Women’s Seminar which was also held at the South Florida Hindu Temple.
