Sant Nirankari Community Garden (SNCG) acts, Nurturing oneness, Cultivating Growth.

Project Inception:

In February 2023, the Sant Nirankari Mission, a globally recognized spiritual organization,
launched a transformative project in Edmonton—the creation of a community garden. Rooted in
the mission's commitment to social welfare and environmental consciousness, this visionary
initiative aimed to provide a communal space fostering unity, belonging, and active contributions
to well-being and the environment.

Inauguration:

The official inauguration of the Sant Nirankari Community Garden (SNCG) on August 25, 2023,
marked a significant milestone. Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari
Rajpita Ji graced the occasion, symbolizing spiritual guidance and support for the project.

Features:

Noteworthy features of the SNCG include 22 raised metal garden beds, strategically planted fruit
orchards, and dedicated farmland for bulk crop cultivation. Beyond a mere garden, the SNCG
was designed to cultivate unity, oneness, and selfless service to humanity. Various crops,
including vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers, were carefully nurtured. Importantly, the
garden serves a dual purpose—it promotes access to fresh, nutritious food and positively
impacts the community through unique collaborations.

Nurturing Food Security Through Collaborative Initiatives:

The SNCG collaborates with local organizations like Sustainable Food Edmonton, the City of
Edmonton, and the Edmonton Food Bank to promote food security. By donating fresh produce,
the garden supports the Edmonton Food Bank, volunteers, and charitable organizations,
contributing to a shared effort in addressing regional food insecurity. This collaborative
approach fosters a healthier and more resilient community.
