Satsang Programme (Virtual) in the Divine Presence of Satguru Mata Ji

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj addressed the global Nirankari fraternity in a virtual Sunday Satsang. The discourse was from Sampuran Avtar Bani verse number – 352.

Satguru Mata Ji stated –

“If a person is bereft of devotion, he is not a human being.”

“In the verse, taken from Sampuran Avtar Bani, the peculiar behavior of a human being is being discussed. Broadly speaking, the Creator of this universe has created all humans alike but, the distinguishing feature amongst each person is the expression of human values in behavior that makes him or her worthy. God has blessed everyone with a childlike innocence and pure heart but, as the child grows into an adult the impressions of the world start influencing the mind, which relinquishes the humane qualities and displays an arrogant, biased attitude of that individual. Whereas, those who nurture purity of thought instill devotion and dignity in life and their faces reflect an ethereal glow.

Undoubtedly, the only way to prove worthy of being a human is to imbibe the human values, otherwise the innocence in the character gradually starts depleting; as it is said, “there is an absence of humaneness in a man.” The truth is that the best way to inculcate such values is to establish a deep connection with the Almighty (Nirankar). Surely then, positivity in the thoughts will be on an auto pilot mode; which will motivate the mind to see the goodness in everyone and overlook the shortcomings; generosity and compassion will be generated effortlessly and then one realizes that God has made each one of us in His own image. Not just that, the realization of the Divine presence prevents man from committing any mistake intentionally. Henceforth, we can improvise as well as enhance the values in our own behavior.

As stated,

“Man is equal to an animal, if he is not conscious of his duties.”

In the above line it is said that a man devoid of humaneness is equivalent to an animal. Actually an animal still stays true to its nature; like for a lion to kill or for a bird to fly it’s natural behaviour. Whereas, humanity is the core nature of a human being but, when he loses his sanity he behaves like an animal. If we compare a dead animal to a dead person; a dead animal’s body parts are quite useful, for example the ivory teeth of an elephant or the lion’s skin are very highly prized. A man is worthy of being a human when he displays the moral values in his behavior during his lifetime. He has to earn his liberation while living in the world and that can be achieved by experiencing the Divine presence in his life.

Therefore, we as humans must do justice to our being by staying true to our nature and adapting to the way God has created us. As a poet has also said, “animal, man, angel, God, these are the many forms of a human being.” It is really very amazing to notice that only a man has the flexibility as well as the choice to transition from becoming a very helpful, compassionate, benevolent person like an angel or be malicious and ferocious like an animal.

Hence, we do have the choice to adopt all extreme situations and become like that. So we must be cautious and alert in deciding what we want to be, it is with the support of spiritual awareness only one can follow the path of righteousness.

As stated,

“Putting on the human attire, he is doing brutish acts.”

In today’s crucial times of Corona, we witnessed in the news; how man is taking undue advantage of the situation to fulfill his selfish motives by marketing fake medicines without realizing the pain of families whose dear ones are afflicted with the disease. Some have completely lost their sanity and have adopted immoral ways to make money.

Few years ago, we had seen a similar condition during the massive earthquake where a hand was seen out of the debris seeking for help and someone instead of saving his life, went up to him to steal the ring on his finger and left him to die. What a sadistic and a brutal behavior of a human being was seen by so many of us. Whereas, on the other side, there are few who are willing to share whatever little they earn for the service of mankind. Everyone is aware that devotees like you all came forward to serve wherever there was a need; be it for food or blood. Many blood donation camps were organized and many pure souls supported the noble cause silently without any desire for appreciation or public acclaim.

As stated,

“This is not man’s innocence, it is his devilment.”

Surely, such a man cannot be pardoned who intentionally fleeces others and consciously decides to follow the unethical means; is shrewd, malicious, rather he is a beast in the body of a man. Definitely we cannot expect such a devilish person to do some good for others. As a poet has said, “One who does not recognize God as Supreme, how can one expect him to understand a human being.” It is very sad to see that under the pressure of so much negativity man has totally lost his values; has become selfish, insensitive to the pain and sufferings of others. Honestly, it is difficult to uplift such an individual and show him the path of righteousness.

Therefore, it is the presence of the Divine noble saints, which plays a very significant role in uplifting and awakening the society from this slumber of humaneness. How can we convince them to know that such barbarism is self-destructive. The best way to purify the mind is to inculcate a strong desire to surrender oneself whole heartedly in doing selfless service, as this is the only way to beautify and embellish the universe, which the Almighty has blessed us with. Then it should be our sincere effort to leave this world to be a better place for others to live in.

We must move forward on the righteous path with just positivity alone. There should be no room for any kind of negativity, so that no confusion prevails, whatsoever. This is the path of wisdom and spirituality, where one can establish a pure connection with God, through the awareness of God Knowledge.

As stated,

“The knowledge of a scholar without practice reduces life to helplessness.”

There are such individuals who are well versed with worldly knowledge as well as the knowledge of scriptures but, only those people earn praise who apply the knowledge in their personal life. For example, we watch a recipe of a particular dish on the internet; until we do not cook the dish in our own kitchen, we will not get the taste in our mouth by merely watching or reading the recipe. In the similar way we might have the best information or knowledge but, until it is not applied in action it is meaningless because actions speak much louder than words. When we are aware that humaneness, compassion, large heartedness, humility, love, are the virtues of a human being then why aren’t we implementing them in our life? If we will not apply these values in our life then surely we will fall in the category of those who are hollow and shallow from within. Therefore we must give our best to prove worthy of being a sincere true human being.

As stated,

“Avtar says, without the goal, journey makes the destination more distant.”

With the analogy of a traveller it has been explained here that in order to reach a final destination, clarity of the route is a necessity. Supposedly, if we get lost on the way then there are signboards to guide us on the correct path. Similarly, the final goal of a human being is to connect with the Almighty and the way to experience it is to be conscious of the Divine presence 24X7, while doing all actions our soul should feel connected with the Super Soul. Automatically as well as effortlessly goodness shall prevail in our behavior and life. Henceforth, we have to have that clarity of mind and in doing so we will not only benefit our own self rather we will be the guiding stars for many around us. Through our noble actions we will be able to guide many on the spiritual path and share the truth that it is possible to realize and experience God.

With the Divine Grace, may everyone be blessed with God Knowledge (Brahmgyan) and may everyone follow the three spiritual aspects of Sewa, Simran and Satsang with devotion. May each devotee strive to be a worthy global citizen without creating any boundaries whatsoever. May Nirankar bless everyone with the ability to be a true human being so that one serves mankind selflessly.”
