Sant Nirankari Mission Canada hosted its 41st semi-annual Humanness Blood Drive Clinic on October 28, 2023, from 10 AM to 4 PM. This clinic was organized in partnership with the Canadian Blood Services, and it resulted in the collection of 110 units of blood, which will help save more than 300 lives.
SNM Toronto members have been organizing blood donation
clinics for the past 25 years. The Mission is a proud Partner
for Life with Canadian Blood Services and works closely with
local community members to serve the community. A group of
members from the J'pura Canada Alumni Association made
invaluable contributions to this clinic.
In addition to the Blood Donation drive, the Mission is
facilitating the registration for stem cell donations. Stem
cell donation is a noble endeavor with the potential to treat
various cancers and disorders, including leukemia and lymphoma.
In this clinic, 30 volunteers generously pledged to donate
their stem cells in support of this noble cause.
The entire clinic was diligently managed by the
Mission's volunteers (Sewadal), who handled registration,
assisted donors, and provided support to the CBS staff.
This initiative was inspired by the message of Satguru Mata
Sudiksha Ji: “Life gains meaning when lived for others”.
