The night was filled with spiritual speeches and songs. A number of the speakers emphasized that Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj was the living example of Love, Kindness, Forgiveness, Humility, Tolerance, and Humbleness. Baba Ji often used to say that Forgiveness is the mark of greatness and to achieve greatness we must be humble. He not only asked us to be humble He showed us how to do it. Once asked why He referred himself as Das, Baba Ji replied that He saw the divine spark in everyone and that was why he bowed to everyone in reverence of the divine. In the end, it was beautifully summed up that we have to walk the path shown by Satguru and connect with Nirankar, our true self and that is how we manifest the divine traits in our lives.
There was a sense of gratitude towards Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj for providing this opportunity to collectively introspect and learn from each other.
