“Humanness runs through my Veins”,
the slogan for the Humanness Blood Drive by Sant
Nirankari Mission (SNM), came to life at the Toronto Centre for Oneness on April 22, 2017.
Participating in this global initiative, Toronto chapter of SNM Canada, in partnership with
Canadian Blood Services (CBS), held its 28th blood donation clinic in Brampton. A record
breaking 127 units of blood were collected to save more than 350 precious human lives.
Inaugurating this clinic, Regional Councillor Michael Palleschi appreciated
the message of Humanness and the Mission’s continuous contribution to the
community at large. Apart from the Mission’s members, local residents also
participated by donating and supporting this great cause. A group of elders
from neighboring city Georgetown, came for the first time to support the clinic,
were very much impressed by the selfless environment and positive energy that
emanated throughout the day. The clinic provided everyone with an opportunity
to give back to the community the precious gift of life.
Sant Nirankari Mission regularly organizes blood donation clinics in many countries
across the world including all major Canadian cities. SNM Canada is a member
of the Partner for Life program with CBS. The Mission constantly works on
initiatives for spiritual awakening and social empowerment following the
teachings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj to “Love all, Serve all.”
