27th Blood Donation Clinic held in Toronto

On October 29 2016, the City of Brampton’s Mayor Linda Jeffery inaugurated the 27th Blood Donation Clinic at Sant Nirankari Mission’s Toronto Centre of Oneness, in association with the Canadian Blood Services. Mayor Jeffery was ecstatic about the work the mission is doing to bring our community together.

The blood donation clinic is one of the many ways Nirankari Mission aspires to promote Humanness. Blood is a universal human lifeline for which even science doesn't have a solution. Many SNM members and community members came together and proved that God has given us an opportunity to connect with other humans, despite differences in race, gender, or religion. Mayor Jeffery emphasized that by focusing on qualities that we share, all of humanity can provide benefit to one another. Today’s blood drive was an example of how everyone can embrace Oneness.

There were many first time donors who felt complete excitement and happiness being able to give blood and help their community. The demand for blood is constant, today’s collection of 110 units of blood will provide 330 lives a chance at life. Every gift of a donation can help to save the life of another person.

As His Holiness Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj has said that blood should flow in veins and not in drains.
