Bal(Kids) Samagam - Toronto (March 31, 2018)

  With the grace of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev ji Maharaj, Toronto branch organized a Bal (Kids) Samagam on Saturday, March 31st. The Samagam followed the theme of “Love through forgiveness” which was beautifully expressed and presented by young saints of the mission. The primary goal behind such endeavors is to encourage the young members of the branch to come forward, advance and showcase their spiritual journey. These children and young adults are the future pillars of the mission and therefore it is important to nurture them with the right teachings from such an early age.

The philosophy of the mission teaches us to embrace all humans as our own and love them alike, and this message was expressed beautifully during the congregation. Blissful was the atmosphere of the Center of Oneness as these saints took the form of speeches, songs, poems and skits to convey their innocent yet deep thoughts. A young saint spoke about how God doesn’t speak Hindi or English, but only the language of love. Saints asked for the blessings to learn how to forgive and love others selflessly, just as our Satguru does.

Saints gave examples from daily lives of how simple and beautiful their lives became once they decided to forgive others and accept them as a part of the one big family. They also highlighted the life of our beloved Satguru and how Her every action is filled with love and care for all.

A skit was also presented on the topic of “there is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love.” In the ending discourse, a young saint emphasized on how holding on to hatred, negativity and grudges leads to a painful and miserable life. We should free ourselves from any negativity by forgiving and loving selflessly.

In a world today where there are so many hatred prevails, it was refreshing to see the young saints and adults start their journey of life with love, tolerance and acceptance. We thank Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji for blessing us with such a wonderful opportunity to come together and learn from each other
