Mental Health Walk 2021 - SNM Sydney

The Sant Nirankari Mission, Sydney Branch, participated in the Walk for Mental Health between September 17, 2021 to October 17, 2021 virtually and physically.
The Walk for Mental Health is an initiative of Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA), the oldest not-for-profit,
non-government mental health organisation in Australia, serving the community since 1930!
For this purpose, a team was created by us, named Team Oneness
All donations and steps count were captured in this team.
The event culminated in MHFA’s Annual National Walk for Mental Health held on
17 October 2021, 10:30 am in each state and territory capital of Australia.
Team Oneness members gathered together in Rouse Hill Regional Park to walk together and raise awareness in the community on that day.
Given the lockdown in Sydney for the almost the entire duration of the event between September 17 and October 17,
all participants adhered to local covid safe restrictions to ensure they contributed by walking.
The members of the team were also generous in their donations to the cause and almost $1100
were contributed to MHFA to continue running their awareness campaigns.
