Sant Nirankari Mission, Sydney participates in Woodcroft Festival

The devotees of Sydney SNM took part in a community based cultural event on Saturday 27th September. The Annual Woodcroft Festival celebrated its 10th Anniversary with fun filled activities for all the family. The festivities commenced from 10am through to 4pm and saw a host of singers, dancers, entertainers including a magician, pet shows and much more.

Sydney SNM also participated in this event by putting up a stall where they provided the community with free face painting, nail art, henna designs, and personalised calligraphy name signs. They also distributed a wide range of spiritual books and pamphlets to all members of the public.

Sydney SNM was also involved in the entertainment section of the festival. The youth and the children sang hymns highlighting the teachings of the mission and the importance of human values. A bhangra item performed by the devotees was widely appreciated as it required the audience to get involved.

Certificates of Appreciation were also presented by the Blacktown Council to those who participated in the event.

The festival proved to be a huge success and was enjoyed by all those who participated and all members of the public.
