We can never have enough material possessions,
Our needs maybe met, our wants become obsession.
No matter if we think we are rich or poor,
We have many things, so much to be thankful for

Let us build our spiritual wealth that lasts forever
We ask for our precious good health to remain ever
May my body and soul serve you always my Lord
In my actions may I express more than thanks or words

You have sent wonderful and pious saints to guide me
Disciples whose life examples have shown the way to Thee
Cherishing their thoughts let us honour and show respect
Thank you for sending those beautiful angels, souls so perfect

You sent your only son to help guide all humankind
We did not listen to his words his love was maligned
Thankfully forgiving, you sent messengers to reveal the proof
Now Baba Hardev Ji tirelessly spreads the message of Truth

May I continue to do as my Guru wishes just for that smile
Selfless service, attend congregations, to go those extra miles
