Cleanliness drive held at Sewree fort by Sewree & Kalachowky branches of Sector 3 on 1st October 2023   --Report

Mumbai, October 2, 2023: To commemorate the completion of 350 years of the coronation ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, a special cleanliness campaign was organized by the State Government at Shivdi Fort in which 150 Nirankari devotees of Sant Nirankari Mandal's Kala Chowki and Shivdi branches participated. During this campaign, a street play was presented by Nirankari Mission to create public awareness about cleanliness, which was appreciated by the dignitaries and citizens present. Nirankari devotees offered their services in this campaign under the supervision of Dr. Darshan Singh Ji, Zonal in charge of Banda (UP) of Sant Nirankari Mandal and local Seva Dal Adhikaris and volunteers. It is noteworthy that on behalf of the Government, Honourable Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis Ji, Honourable Minister Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha Ji, Assembly Speaker Honourable Shri Rahul Narvekar Ji, MLA Shri Kalidas Kolambkar Ji etc. were present in this campaign.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi Ji, Sant Nirankari Mission made an active contribution at various places across the country in the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign organized across the country. Under this, about 50 followers of Nirankari Mission had participated in the cleanliness campaign as per the request of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Marg, Kandivali East from Lokhandwala to Damu Nagar Circle.

Under this campaign, Kisan Nagar School No. 23, Road No. 16, Kisan Nagar No. 3 Vegetable Market and Road No. 22 to Neptune Company area were cleaned in Thane city.

350 Nirankari devotees including Seva Dal dedicated their services in this cleanliness campaign organized under the joint aegis of Sant Nirankari Mission and Thane Municipal Corporation. On this occasion, former corporator of Thane Municipal Corporation and brother of Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr Prakash Shinde, former corporator Mrs. Sandhya More and Chairman of Education Committee Mr Yogesh Jankar etc. dignitaries were present and encouraged all the participants.
Apart from this, about 120 Nirankari devotees conducted a cleanliness campaign in Anand Nagar, Vasai.

The Cleanliness drive commenced at 10 am followed by a prayer to the formless God and this campaign continued for about an hour at every place.
