Addressing the drive at Yamuna Chhath Ghat, (I.T.O), Delhi, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, highlighted upon the importance of water and measures to conserve it. Mataji said that God has bestowed us with this nectar-like water, but human’s negligence and misuse has contaminated it. Thus, it our sacred and social responsibility to maintain its purity and naturalness. Similarly, it is also one’s humanly duty to purify one’s mind and maintain its state of purity, which will lead us on to the path of righteousness and Humanness. Emphasizing on measures for water conservation at individual level, Mataji said that a small life-style changes in one’s habit would help to preserve water and avoid its wastage.

Sant Nirankari Mission has been actively involved in many such projects time and again, notably 'Project Oneness Vann' for environmental protection and now 'Project Amrit’ for water conservation.
