A MEGA CLEANLINESS DRIVE CONDUCTED COUNTRYWIDE BY THE NIRANKARIS TO MARK THE 65TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF BABA HARDEV SINGH JI MAHARAJ.

Mumbai, February 23, 2019: The Sant Nirankari Mission organized today a Mega Cleanliness Drive & Tree Plantation throughout the country and also abroad, to commemorate its former Spiritual Head Baba Hardev Singh Ji’s 65th Birth Anniversary. Baba Ji often said: Pradushan Bahar Ho Ya Andar, Dono Hanikarak Hain i.e., “Pollution whether outside or within, both are harmful.” The Mumbai Metropolitan region and neighbouring areas of Thane, Navi Mumbai, Uran, Panvel & Mira-Bhayander conducted the drive at 36 hospitals, 25 Urban Health Centres, various Parks, colonies near their Satsang centres and Police Stations. Tree plantation too, was an integral part of the drive. At every centre, volunteers of the Foundation and members of the Sewadal came in their respective uniforms, while other devotees also joined them. All assembled at the assigned venue at 8 am and spread out for the campaign after Sumiran and prayer. The campaign continued up to 12.00 noon. Special care was taken for the disposal of the garbage with necessary cooperation from the local authorities. Volunteers also pledged to dedicate themselves for the noble cause of cleanliness forever. The Drive witnessed the presence of the eminent as Shri Kirit Somaiya M.P. at Swantrya Veer Savarkar Municipal Hospital (Mulund), Dr.Shrikant Shinde, M.P. at Civil Hospital, Thane, Shri Rahul Narvekar, MLA at St.George Hospital (CSMT), Shri Ashok Patil, MLA at Savitribai Phule Municipal Hospital (Bhandup) and Prakash Phaterpekar, MLA at Maa Hospital (Chembur). Several Corporators also visited the campaign at different locations namely Shri Makarand Narvekar, Shri Santosh Vadavle, Shri Ramdas Kamble and Smt.Suvarna Karanje. Shri Mangesh Satamkar, President, Education Committee, Mumbai also visited the campaign. Corporators Smt.Sarika Pawar and Smt.Aparna Salavi joined in Tree Plantation at Kanjur Marg and Kalwa respectively. Concerned Hospital Deans, Superintendents and staff cooperated the campaign at their respective hospitals. Shri Bhupendra Singh Chugh, Zonal Incharge, Mumbai Zone of the Mandal, Smt Sarabjeet Shauq Ji Additional Zonal Incharge, Mumbai along with Zone Coordinators, Sector Sanyojaks, Mukhis and Sewadal Adhikaris of concerned branched played a vital role in this successful campaign. Later Inspiration from Nirankari Baba Hardev Ji’s Life was strived out at around 45 Local Satsang Organised in Mumbai on 24th Feb 2019 at various locations with help of Speeches and Verses Of Hardev Vani. |
