Spirituality - An Important
portion in the life of the children towards healthy future -
Nirankari's focus on it from childhood itself
Series of Bal Samagams
held in
Mumbai
Mumbai, June 10, 2019: Sant Nirankari Mission firmly
believes in the saying of Baba Hardev SinghJi Maharaj
“Children are not things to be moulded but people to be
unfolded” as opined by Rev Rakesh SethiJi,an ardent
devotee of the mission from Amritsar in his address at
the Zonal Level Bal Sant Samagam held at the Sant
Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Chembur yesterday.
Apart from Bal Sant Samagam, Rev. Rakesh Sethiji,
presided the congregation held at Thane Jail and also
presided regular congregations held at various places
all over Mumbai (Vileparle, Vashi, Wadala, Borivali,
Mankhurd, Uran, Sion
Dharavi, Diva, Dadar, Colaba, Sakinaka, Worli &
Bhandup).
More than 3000 devotees participated in the congregation
from Mumbai and suburbs mainly from Navy Nagar to
Ghatkopar and Chembur to Mankhurd. Similar Bal Samagams
were held at Andheri on same day and at Ghansoli, Navi
Mumbai on 8th June, 2019. The one at Ghansoli was
attended by devotees from Thane, Mulund, Navi Mumbai and
Uran and other at Andheri was attended by devotees from
Bandra to Bhayander. The Series of bal sant samagams is
being conducted all over the country in the current
month.
Spirituality is the correct path to unfolding and
guiding their hidden talents towards healthy posterity
enriched with Human Values thus Mission organizes
Spiritual Congregations for Children (Balsatsang) on
regular basis by the week and such Gathering (Samagam)
on yearly basis so that they are infused with
positivity.
Rev. Rakeshji, further pointed out that while
inculcating human values though balsangats play a vital
role in shaping up the character of kids, the behavior
of adults in the family also impacts their life by a
great deal. Hence, the adults should also imbibe human
values while trying to sow these seeds in a kid’s life.
He stressed on the importance of the deep-rooted
spiritual teachings in building a stronger foundation in
everyone’s life.
Children between the age group 7 to 15 years actively
took part in the congregation and threw light on
teachings of the Mission though Spiritual songs,
reciting Holy verses of HardevBani, Fillers, Skits and
sharing their thoughts through speeches, in different
languages.
A poetic symposium by the kids on the topic ‘Maryada’
was a noteworthy feature this year. An exhibition was
held at all the three venues, depicting the teachings of
the Mission, the theme of the Bal Samagamby making use
of models and paintings.
The kids felicitated the active members of the Mission
from the Mumbai Zone, viz; Zonal Incharge, Rev Bhupinder
Chugh ji, Rev Prakash Joshi ji, Rev Aruna Yadav ji and
Rev Prachi Bamne ji for their untiring effort spread
across many years in developing the Bal Sangats in
Mumbai, suburbs and adjoining areas.
The arrangements for the above BalSamagam was made by
the local sewadal unit under appropriate guidance by
Zonal Incharge and Zonal Coordinator of the Mandal in
Mumbai. Sector Sanyojaks and Sewadal Adhikaris of
respected areas also played a vital role in the
arrangements.
