Mammoth Turnout of Nirankari Devotees Hue the Blood Donation Drive With Devotion 83 Camps Nationwide

Including 14 in Maharashtra, held 1244 Units were donated in Chembur, Dombivli & Ulhasnagar

 

           24th April 2018, Mumbai:  

April 24, every year, witnesses countrywide conduction of blood donation camps as a part of Manav Ekta Diwas (Human Unity Day) to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji who laid down his life on this day in 1980 while crusading for truth, love, peace and unity.

83 Camps were organized, today in different cities of the country by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation. 1244 Nirankaris donated their blood enthusiastically in 3 camps organized at the Sant Nirankari Sastang Bhavans situated at Chembur, Dombivali and Ulhasnagar.

The Camp at Chembur commenced with prayers seeking blessings of HH Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji led by Shri Bhupinder Singh Chughji Zonal In-Charge of Mumbai Zone joined by Smt Sarabjeet Shauq ji Additional Zonal In-Charge, Dr. R. S. Yadav , Shashi Parab and many other devotees.

              

     
In Mumbai, a single camp held at their Satsang Bhavan in Chembur, with the participation of JJ Metro blood bank (181), L.T. Sion Hospital Blood bank (190), Wadia Hospital (137) and a K.E.M. Hospital (193), jointly collected 701 units of blood.
              

     


The camp was visited by the Smt. Rohini Kamble, Chairperson of Public Health Committee, BMC and Smt. Jayashree Palande, Local Corporator. Both were unanimous in appreciating the efforts of the Mission towards welfare of the society and wished them success in all such ventures.

The camp was conducted with the help of the local unit of the Nirankari Sewa Dal, volunteers of the SNCF, the medical team headed by Dr. R.S.Yadav, Maruti Kasare and others.
