Sarovar Complex

Nirankari Sarovar Complex was one dream project of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj which he realized during his lifetime. No doubt he never claimed to be contributing something new and said that he simply continued the work of his predecessor, the fact remains that all the landmarks surfaced in the Complex as a result of his own vision. He wanted to attract every citizen to a pollution free tourist spot and go back with the message that God-realization is the primary aim of human life and the only path leading to an everlasting happiness here and hereafter.

Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj undertook a well thought of process of expansion and modernization of the Complex. In order to make the view more attractive, he started to beautify the Sarovar with roofed colonnade, which was complete by 1987-88. A separate Sarovar for women and children was also developed. Beautiful parks with grassy grounds flanked by rows of flowers and rare varieties of trees and plants became an important part of the outlay.

Thanks to the farsightedness and benign blessings of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, the Sarovar Complex became a vast magnificent campus filled with spiritual fragrance. Nirankari Museum – ‘Journey Divine’ dedicated to mankind on February 22, 2005 on the eve of his 51st Birthday is already attracting thousands of God-loving people every day. The use of multi-media and modern technology along with a divine message of moving from darkness to light leaves a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of the visitors.

Similarly, the Fountain of Oneness, an enchanting unison of sound, light and water representing the melody of sacred words, the divine light of God-knowledge and the sweet nectar of love is another landmark of the Mission dedicated to mankind on February 23, 2013, the 59th Birthday of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.

The four pathways of the Fountain depict people from varied religions, cultures and languages meeting at the core of the structure. The human formations with joining hands are a portrayal of a world with love, humility and brotherhood.

With several other structures with public facilities and amenities including a 3-storey administrative block, a library and a cafeteria, providing the most befitting backdrop to such a picturesque surrounding, Nirankari Sarovar Complex is thus a fine example of harmony between architectural skill and spirituality. It also reminds one of a unique combination of labour of love, faith and devotion by the devotees on the one hand and Satguru's benign blessings and guidance on the other. The visitors find here the divine vibrations of the presence of saints deeply devoted to the Formless One, cleanse their body and mind, and feel blessed with spiritual bliss. Besides, Nirankari Sarovar complex remains a fine anti-pollution gift to Delhi's ecology. No wonder, the Government of Delhi placed it on its tourist map from November, 2015.
