Guru Puja Diwas 2014

The auspicious occasion of birthday of his holiness Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj was celebrated with great enthusiasm on February 22, 2014 at Gladwin Heights United Church Abbotsford. Saints from Vancouver also participated in this event.

First of all sewadal parade and PT exercises were performed along with prarthna song and guru puja song. It was appreciated by all the sangat.

Satsang started with the song of sewa (service) of guru performed jointly by the saints after the song by sisters, a skit was performed before the saints showing how nirankari saints serve the mahapurshas coming from India like their own family. Younger saints organized a kavi darbar. The poems narrated by the younger saints were appreciated by all the sangat. After that some poems from the elder saints were also narrated. A song by younger saints was performed. Rev. Sadhu Singh ji, Parmukh Mission Branch of Sant Nirankari Mission presented the thelli sewa to the holy chair. He also congratulated whole sangat on the occasion of birthday of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj and thanked the saints who had come from various places. He also thanked Rev. Baldev Raj Arora ji, who had reached there specially to preside over the event. In his address, Rev. Arora ji congratulated all the saints for this occasion, and asked the saints to follow the teachings of His Holiness.

Food was collected to be distributed among the needy people was donated to the local Food Bank. All the saints at the very end of the sangat enjoyed the community meal and departed happily.
