Sant Nirankari Mandal Launches Campaign to Promote English Magazines

Sant Nirankari Mandal Launches Campaign to Promote English Magazines

With the blessings of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, the Magazine Department of the Sant Nirankari Mandal has launched a special campaign to promote its English monthlies - ‘Sant Nirankari’ and ‘Hansti Duniya’. While ‘Sant Nirankari’ is a spiritual magazine, ‘Hansti Duniya’ is primarily for children.

Right now ‘Sant Nirankari’ is published in eleven and ‘Hansti Duniya’ in four languages but each edition has its own independent identity.

The campaign has been launched in view of the fact that the Mission has spread across the globe and needs corresponding support in the form of literature – both books and magazines. No doubt, English remains the most popular language of the world. The Department feels that the First Nirankari International Samagam (NIS) – the Festival of Oneness, held in Birmingham, UK in August, 2012 was a big step forward to introduce the Mission to numerous new avenues of the world. Besides, the United Nations has granted to the Sant Nirankari Mandal, the organizational outfit of the Mission, Special Consultative Status on July 27, 2012, providing a promising opportunity to the Mandal to work with UN Secretariat and its Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as also its subsidiary bodies. It is, therefore, all the more necessary that these developments should be followed up by suitable literature, particularly the magazines in English.
