Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji in Melbourne, Australia

On a month-long international tour of Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand, the gracious couple Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji and Holy Sister Niranjan Ji from Amritsar blessed the saints of Melbourne in Australia.

They reached Melbourne by road from Sydney on the night of August 2, 2013. They blessed families on their way residing in Canberra, Albury and Wodonga.

Devotees in Melbourne eagerly waited for the saints arrival at Rowville Bhawan where holy couple blessed the congregation slightly after mid-night stating 'It’s the spiritual binding love of all saints which is the source of energy at this hour after 15 hours of travelling' and appreciated the spirit of all the saints gathered for spiritual bliss.

On August 3, 2013, a special ladies congregation was organised at a saint’s residence where Holy Sister Niranjan Kaur Ji presided and blessed emphasising on the need to follow the teachings of Satguru and reflect those teachings in our day to day life. After Satsang the families gathered there changed the atmosphere with their songs and dances. Many saints were blessed at their residences during the day.

Sunday, August 4, 2013 was the day for main Samagam where saints from all over Australia attended with great zeal. Sewadal had to struggle a bit to accommodate huge number of saints and visitors in the congregation hall. In his postulation, Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji put many real life examples linked to the blessings of Baba Ji in every form. He emphasised on Sewa, Simran, Satsang on regular basis to reach to the depth of God-knowledge.

Various speeches, poems and devotional songs, glorifying the Lord Almighty were presented in the congregation. Holy sister Niranjan Ji also presented a devotional song. The congregation lasted for 3 hours, longer than scheduled as everyone was in the spiritual bliss.

Melbourne saints invited many prominent political and community leaders including Alan Tudge - Federal MP, Dr Ali Khan - Federal Candidate, Cr Joe Cossari - Councillor, Mr Vasan Srinivasan – President Indian Association and all appreciated the role of SNM volunteers in the local community services and acknowledged the blessings of Satguru. Other speakers in the congregation included Rev Chanbir Ji - President, SNM Australia, Rev Mithu Ji - Mukhi, SNM Brisbane, Rev Inderjit - Pramukh, SNM Melbourne and Rev Vinod Ahluwalia, Secretary – Treasurer SNM Australia.

After the congregation several visitors were enlightened with God-knowledge by Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji and more than 50 saints revised their God-knowledge. Thereafter, the holy couple continued their blessings at the residences of more than 12 saints.

On August 5, 2013, holy couple visited the health organisation of Dr. Ali Khan at Sale along with many senior saints where Dr. Ali delivered a presentation about his mission and how their services follow the path our Mission. Management presented their token of love to holy couple in the form of a trophy and local art gift. Three saints were blessed at their residence or business premises.

On August 6, 2013, holy couple along with a large group of local saints enjoyed a tour to Queenscliff and Great Ocean Road and blessed many saints at their residences.

On August 7, 2013, holy couple continued showering their blessings on Melbourne saints during their tour to Ballarat, visiting many saints at their residences and farewell congregation at Rowville Bhawan. In the discourse, Rev Sukhdev Ji emphasised on the need of our total surrender to Satguru and participation in all kinds of Sewa at every opportunity. After congregation, many new saints got God-knowledge and many more revised their existing knowledge. Even after dinner, saints kept on visiting the holy couple to seek blessings.

Holy couple left Melbourne on the morning of August 9, 2013 for their next stop in New Zealand.

From Singapore, Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji and Holy Sister Niranjan Ji from Amritsar reached Sydney in Australia. With the blessings of His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, the gracious couple is currently on a month-long spiritual tour of Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.

In Sydney, Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji presided over the Sunday congregation on July 28, 2013 which was attended, besides our own saints, by politicians and members of the wider community. Mr. Stephen Bali, Councilor at Blacktown City Council, congratulated the saints and expressed his happiness that Sant Nirankari Mission is actively participating in events that are beneficial for everyone in the community.

Various speeches, poems and devotional songs, glorifying the Lord Almighty were presented in the congregation. Holy sister Niranjan Ji also presented a devotional song.

Rev H.S. Kohli, Up-mukhya Sanchalak, Sewa Dal, Delhi who is also on a short visit to Australia, spoke about how blessings of Satguru can remove obstacles in life and establish a devotee’s mind in God. Other speakers in the congregation included Rev Mithu Ji, Mukhi, Brisbane, Rev Inderjit, Pramukh, Melbourne and Rev Vinod Ahluwalia, Secretary – Treasurer SNM Australia.

Finally in his postulation, Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji emphasized the need to seek God-knowledge to achieve the purpose of human life. He further urged all saints to live a pious and virtuous life unblemished by the influences of material possessions, and imbibe fear of omnipotent and omniscient Nirankar in their day-to-day life.

After the congregating several visitors were enlightened with God-knowledge by Rev Sukhdev Singh Ji.

Rev Malkiat Khinda Ji, the well-known scholar and preacher saint of the Sant Nirankari Mission from UK visited Italy and addressed a thickly attended congregation in the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan in Mantova on Sunday, June 30, 2013.

Addressing the congregation, Rev Malkiat Khinda Ji said, “God-knowledge is a great source of joy. In order to make our life really happy through spiritual enlightenment, however, we need the company of saints. It is here that we learn to associate this Supreme Power, God with every deed we do. We should, therefore, listen to the saints in congregations carefully and follow their teachings in day-to-day life. Then we can take every step of our life while realizing the presence of God with us.”

Similar views were expressed by Rev Malkiat Khinda Ji in several other congregations held at Treviso, Bergamo, Komo and other places in Italy.

On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July 2013 a National Sewadal camp for UK was held at London Satsang Bhawan. Approximately 220 Sewadal members attended the camp. A team of youngsters were involved nationally in helping to draft the Sewadal Agenda and it was the first time where there were practical sessions and several other interesting sessions.

The camp began with a Sewadal band and prayer. Then a historical multimedia clip regarding how the Sewadal has been operating over the number of years since its formation was shown on a projector screen. This clip portrayed the raw emotion, dedication and spirit of our Sewadal volunteers and it touched the hearts of Sewadal members. Various youngsters made presentations regarding important information on Sewa, crowd control and practical sessions were introduced to give practical advice.

During this camp, a special gift for UK Sewadal members was bestowed, with the blessings of Baba Ji in the form of new Sewadal Incharges nationally. Additionally, Sewadal badges and ties were presented to new Sewadal members. The camp closed on Day 1 with devotional songs, while various photographs of UK Sewadal members in action were also shown on a screen.

On Sunday, the camp was marked by Sewadal Prarthana and Sewadal games. Then all the members attended the weekly congregation. Thereafter further sessions dwelt upon on Sewadal code of conduct and skills for Sewadal in great depth and details. Member Incharge Rev Sukhjinder Ji blessed the Sewadal members. The Sewadal Camp ended with a special blessing from His Holiness Baba Ji in the form of a spoken message.

Pune, June 28, 2013: Press and Publicity Department of Sant Nirankari Mandal organized a media training workshop for Nirankari saints associated with media work in Maharashtra, at Pune on June 21 & 22, 2013. The workshop was attended by about 150 saints from all over the State.

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri Kirpa Sagar, Member Incharge, Press and Publicity Department and presided over by Shri Tara Chand, Sanyojak, Pune. Besides Shri Kirpa Sagar, the faculty members included Shri S. C. Talwar from Delhi, Shri Sanjay Chugh from Gurgaon and Shri Praveen Chhabra from Mumbai.

Shri Tara Chand thanked the Press and Publicity Department for arranging this workshop in Pune and bestowing this Sewa to their zone. He stated that it will be a good opportunity for the saints of Maharashtra to learn the techniques of dealing with media persons. This will, however, be useful only when they put this into practice, he said.

Shri Kirpa Sagar apprised the participants about the media approach followed during the times of Shahenshah Baba Avtar Singh Ji and Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and then by Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. He also presented the papers on Ideology of the Mission and the Nirankari Website. He briefed the participants about the principles to be adopted while drafting a press release. Thereafter a practical exercise on the preparation of the press release was given to the participants.

Shri S. C. Talwar presented papers on Nirankari Samagams and Feature Articles. Shri Sanjay Chugh presented papers on Nirankari Conventions, Electronic Media and Photo Coverage. Shri Praveen Chhabra from Mumbai presented the papers on Public Relations and Maintenance of Press Clippings.

The workshop was conducted by Shri S. C. Talwar who also presented a resume in the end. The vote of thanks was presented by Shri Anil More, Media Coordinator in Pune.
