Consultative Status With the United Nations

Consultative Status With the United Nations

In recognition of the large scale socio-charitable activities, the Sant Nirankari Mandal was granted the Special Consultative Status with the UN in 2012. This facilitated the Mandal to make continuous efforts for the welfare of humanity across the world in active coordination with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the UN. Now the UN is considering the Mandal’s request for graduation of its status to General Consultative Status with the UN for carrying higher responsibilities.

While UN has acknowledged that our ongoing contributions to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and our Consultative Status with ECOSOC is in good standing, they have also sought our help in pursuing other organizations to apply for consultative status by posting their following announcement on our website:

“NGOs interested in applying for ECOSOC consultative status should submit their application and required documents on or before the deadline of 1 June 2018. The following link provides background information, the benefits of consultative status and instructions for how to apply:”

All NGOs working for public welfare in one way or another may like to avail this opportunity to work at the international level.
