SNM participated in Rescue Work in Solan

Sant Nirankari Mission participated in Rescue Work in Solan (Himachal Pradesh)

On July 15, 2019, there was a major collapse of a multi storied building near Kumarhati, on the Nahan Express-way in District Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The followers of the Sant Nirankari Mission have contributed immensely to the rescue work. Thirteen army personnel including one woman died while 28 people were injured in this accident.


The volunteers of Sewadal of Sant Nirankari Mission provided their services along with the soldiers of the NDRF and the army. They took the injured and died persons to the hospital all through the night and Monday morning. The volunteers of the Mission contributed their best services in the leadership of Rev Sudarshan Kumar Ji, Mukhi of the Kumarhati Branch and under the guidance of Rev. Rajwant Kaur Ji, Zonal Incharge, Shimla.

It is significant that the Nirankari Mission is contributing active participation in different areas of Social activities. Earlier the Mission has contributed extensively to help people in the fire incident in Tangunu village in Rohru District (Himachal Pradesh). These included natural disaster relief, services to human beings through health camps, pulse-polio campaign, youth development, women empowerment, child development and other social activities too.
