Sant Nirankari Mission in the moment of Corona Crisis
Sant Nirankari Mission in the moment of Corona Crisis
The Sant Nirankari Mission and its administrative wings have been instrumental in reaching out to lakhs and lakhs of Indian brothers and sisters who have been affected by the complete lockdown in the country owing to the global spread of the corona virus. As soon as the PM announced lockdown across the country on the 24th of March 2020, SNM realised that the underprivileged sections of the society would be in need of basic food items for their families.
The Sant Nirankari Mandal sent message to all its 95 zones and 3000 plus branches across India to facilitate and provide food/ration to the needy families. From that day onwards, the devotees of the Nirankari Mission and the volunteers of the Sant Nirankari Sewadal have been providing dry ration and langar to lakhs of people on daily basis. As an approximation, around 100000 people are being served freshly prepared langar every day.
Sant Nirankari Mission has contributed Rupees Five Crores in the PM Cares Fund, along with 50 lakhs each in the CM Fund of Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra. The contributions were appreciated by the Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, along with the state CMs.
The Mission pledges to stand by the country, praying for the current crisis to get over soon, with health and happiness prevailing across all sections of the society.
