Sant Nirankari Mission, Melbourne held it’s 14th Blood Donation Drive at Australian Red Cross Blood Service – Mount Waverley, Melbourne on 4th October, 2009. The Blood Drive was collectively organized by Sant Nirankari Mission Melbourne and ARCBS.

This blood donation drive was a great success as it crossed a figure of 75 units of whole Blood and Plasma within the allotted 6 hours. Especially with members volunteering for Plasma Donation. The Mission itself as a dignified community always ready to help others.

The Councilor for ARCBS council, Cr Jieh-Yung Lo – Mt Waverley Ward, City of Monash recognized the generous efforts of mission’s volunteers during his visit with Mr Doug Allen, Community Relation – ARCBS.

Members of the Mission displayed an everlasting enthusiasm with their participation in this drive to which the ARCBS officials acknowledged as the most enduring and dutiful donors.

The followers for the Mission volunteered to take on different roles like registration process, attendants to the donors, refreshment area, transport from stations, distributing souvenir and more ….

The motive of this drive was to spread the message of His Holiness Baba Ji and encourage people to work for the development and not destruction.
