The Ground Sewa which marked the commencement of preparations for the 50th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam of Maharashtra was inaugurated by Rev Narinder Singh Ji, on Sunday, December 25, 2016 by making a cut in the ground at the CIDCO Grounds, Near Central Park, Sector 29, Navi Mumbai being the venue of the Samagam. He exhorted the devotees to perform Sewa with undaunted faith and devotion.

Rev Narinder Singh Ji, who is lovingly revered as Mamaji amongst the Nirankari fraternity is an Executive Committee Member of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Delhi was specially deputed by Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj for the ceremony and to bless the devotees in their endeavour to spread the message of the Mission through this spiritual conclave. Rev Brijmohan Singh Sethi Ji, Executive Committee Member, was also present at the function.

The ceremony began with a prayer to seek blessings of Her Holiness for success of the event. Chairman of the Samagam Committee, Rev Shambhunath Tiwari Ji along with the Co-ordinator Rev Virendra Bamne Ji and other committee members were present on the occasion. Thousands of Nirankari devotees, hailing from various parts of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and from nearby areas like Pune, Kolhapur, Ahmednagar, Nashik, Chiplun, Satara and Aurangabad witnessed the ceremony.

Lakhs of devotees of the Sant Nirankari Mission from all over Maharashtra and several parts of India and abroad are expected to attend the 3-day Samagam scheduled to be held on January 27, 28 and 29, 2017 in the benign presence of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj, which will be dedicated to the memory of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj with the theme – A Tribute to Humanness.

A Mass Marriages function will also be held on the Samagam venue on January 30, 2017, wherein more than 100 couples will tie their nuptial knot in the holy presence of Satguru Mata Ji.
