Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation Cleanliness Drive to Mark Guru Puja Diwas

On February 23, 2015 the Sant Nirankari Mission celebrated the 61st Birthday of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj in the form of Guru Puja Diwas with a great spirit devotion and dedication. While Members of the Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal held Rallies and rededicated themselves to serve humanity with body, mind and wealth, all the branches of the Mission in India and abroad organized special congregations to highlight the message the Mission seeks to spread in the world under the benign guidance of His Holiness.

Ahead of the auspicious day, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SNCF) carried out a country-wide cleanliness drive on Sunday, February 22. Described as ‘Swachh Pani – Swasth Prani’ i.e. ‘Clean Water - Healthy Being’, the campaign sought to create awareness against water pollution and clean the river banks and beaches of India. The branches situated away from river banks and beaches cleaned the banks of lakes, tanks and big drains, and other public places to mark their participation in this anti-pollution effort.

Reports pouring in from all over the country reveal that the cleanliness drive was not only carried out by the Mission’s devotees with a great enthusiasm, but appreciated both by authorities and the public at large.
