Training Camp for Sewa Dal Adhikaris held in Chandigarh

Chandigarh hosted a 3-day training camp for Sewadal Adhikaris from April 17 to 19, 2014. Over 200 Adhikaris from 38 Sewadal units in Chandigarh zone including Kshetriya Sanchalaks, Sanchalaks, Shikshaks, Sahayak Shikshaks, Shikshikas and Sahayak Shikshikas participated. The camp was also attended by all the Sanyojaks and Mukhis in the zone, besides Zonal Incharge, of course.

Briefing the participants Shri Vasdev Singh, Up-Mukhya Sanchalak (Training) from Delhi explained the types of challenges Sewadal has to face in various social welfare activities of the Mission as also during the rescue and rehabilitation of the people hit by natural clamities.

Shri O.P. Nirankari, Up-Mukhya Sachalak (Field and Special) from Delhi elaborated the enrolment rules for Sewadal volunteers. He said that apart from the willingness of the person, factors like physical fitness, availability of adequate time for service, etc. may also be given importance. Shri Shubh Karan, Sahayak Up-Mukhya Sanchalak (Training) from Delhi also briefed the participants on rendering service effectively.

Dr. B.S. Cheema, Zonal Incharge Chandigarh thanked the Central Sewadal Adhikaris and the participants for making the training camp a success. He suggested that such camps may be organized more frequently.
