Manav Ekta Diwas or Human Unity Day was celebrated with much enthusiasm in Chicago on April 29 2012. Various saints spoke their personal experiences with Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. Many mentioned about social reforms that he introduced such as simple marriages, no dowry, and no drinking. Some saints spoke of how he promoted the Truth outside India. The congregation was presided by Rev H.S Upashak Ji from U.K and was attended by Dr. I.S Rai, President, Sant Nirankari Mission USA, Rev Surjit Arneja, President, Sant Nirankari Mission, Canada, Rev Gobind Singh Ji, Executive Member Incharge Publications, Sant Nirankari Mission, USA and various other distinguished saints.

As a part of celebrations a Blood Donation Drive was also organized at new Warrenville Bhawan. The Drive was scheduled from 10am to 2:30 pm with the Red Cross Service in which 53 saints registered for donating blood. This time more saints were registered as many of them came from out of the town. Additionally, one individual from neighboring city registered Online. Twenty-four units of blood were donated. This time only one saint was declined due to low iron level. Three youth members donated for the first time and were most excited about the same. However, due to the staff shortage of the Red Cross they were not able to accommodate all those who registered.
