Saints

An old woodcutter had three sons, once he became sick and asked his sons to go in the jungle and cut the special wood which he used to cut for his living.

The next day the oldest son went in the jungle to search for the special wood, after searching for several hours he became tired and sat under a tree to eat the food which his mother gave him.

When he opened his food to eat, a saint came up to him and asked if he could get some of his food as he was very hungry, the boy said, what will I eat if I give you my food. The saint said nothing and went away.

The second day the second son went in search of the special wood, after searching for a long time he sat under a tree as he was tired and hungry, as he opened his food the same saint came up to him and asked if he could get anything to eat, the boy said, I have very little for myself, so please don' t ask me for anything. The saint left without saying a word.

The third day the youngest of the sons went to the jungle in search of the special wood.

He searched and searched but could not find the wood.

He sat under a tree to eat his food. The saint again appeared and asked if he could get some food. The boy said, I have very little to eat but we can surely share. The saint sat with him and both enjoyed the food.

After eating the boy asked the saint that he was looking for a special kind of wood but could not find it. The saint replied, Son we are sitting under the tree which you are looking for. The boy was thrilled and went home happily with the wood.

This story tells us that saints help us and solve our problems instantly if we regard them as saints.
