Nirankari Youth Games and Symposium
Delhi, September 21-23, 2018

The Nirankari Youth Forum started and organized by Baba Hardev Singh Ji with the blessings of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji in 1975, has since been revived by Her Holiness Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji. The revived Forum had its first event in Delhi from September 21 to 23, 2018. Almost 5,000 young men and women belonging to the Mission from Delhi NCR participated. Some delegates came from outside Delhi also.

The event was conducted in two parts. The first day was devoted to Sports including Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton and Athletics. The venue was the Nirankari Health City Ground in front of Nirankari Office Complex. Starting the event, Satguru Mata Ji first hoisted the white flag, a symbol of love, peace and unity. Then Her Holiness handed over the Olympic Torch to the participants who took it around the ground and installed it back near the stage. Satguru Mata Ji also released white balloons, a symbol of harmony and soaring heights with humility.

All the participants played the game with full sense of discipline and rules. Satguru Mata Ji also participated in almost every game and encouraged the players. Satguru Mata Ji said that this ground was selected because it was here that the Nirankari Health City, a dream of Baba Hardev Singh Ji is being set up and our event was also health related. The ground had, however, to be levelled and made smooth for the games for which Sewadal volunteers and other devotees completed the task in a very short time.

Satguru Mata Ji said the event is being held under the auspices of the Nirankari Youth Forum. With the blessings of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, it was started and organized by Baba Hardev Singh Ji long time back. Now it has been revived and this is the first event to be organized under its banner. Sports, in fact, are closely related to spirituality also. Just as we concentrate on our game and do not cross the boundary line, similarly we have to be careful in spirituality also. Like in sports, we must use our energy focusing only on Nirankar.

Her Holiness mentioned about other activities also and appreciated the participants for their enthusiastic response. Satguru Mata Ji prayed to Nirankar to bless all so that we see a close combination of the energy of Youth (Josh) and wisdom (Hosh) of the elders. Let our youth have the old head on young shoulders.

NYS

The next two-days Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23, were devoted to Nirankari Youth Symposium (NYS) focussed on the theme of ‘The Six Elements’ – the Earth, the Fire, the Water, the Air, the Ether (Aakash) and the Consciousness (Chetna). All the young participants, men and women were wearing white T-shirts with ‘NYS’ printed on the back.

The event continued till 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Each element was discussed in detail with the help of presentations specially prepared by the youth. The concluding session on Sunday was open for the entire Sadh Sangat like regular Sunday congregation, even though it was a part of symposium to focus on the Six Element – Consciousness.

Blessing the gathering, Satguru Mata Ji said – “Saints, when this NYF was revived, there was only one aim that right from beginning it was a blessing. No doubt the Forum was not used in that form for some years, it has now been revived realising that the energy of the youth is greatly needed to be channelized today.

Saints, it is its first event that you have got this opportunity under the revived Nirankari Youth Forum to participate in games and Nirankari Youth Symposium on Six Elements. I must congratulate you for your response with such a spirit of enthusiasm. You all participated in this event maintaining discipline. The teams who participated came with full preparation, working hard day and night whether for games or the symposium. It appeared that you have worked for months even though you were given less than 15 days only for the process. May God bless you all with strength so that you continue to do Sewa like this.

During the symposium the discussion on all the elements started and ended with Nirankar. Talking about the Creator and Creation, we see Almighty Nirankar pervading each and every object. We have also to enjoy the creation i.e., our material life. Sometimes it appears to be challenging. But you tried to present the same in simplified way using different modes of presentation. For this I congratulate all the teams.

When you were having Sector-wise group photographs a short while ago, many youth came and asked me that while this event has concluded, what’s next? So, I would like to announce that the next Nirankari Youth Symposium will be held in Mumbai. In Mumbai, we usually have the Maharashtra Sant Samagam sometime in January. Here also we have organized this Symposium as a pre-event of the Samagam being held in November. The same way, we may organize the pre-event in Mumbai. Those who come from Delhi, I would like to tell them that the Samagam is being held for the first time in our own ground near Samalkha on November 24, 25 and 26 as already announced. Now the Sewa on the Samagam venue will began on October 14 as already told by Shri V.D. Nagpal Ji. Then November 17 will be dedicated to Satguru Mata Savinder Ji Maharaj. She wanted every old, young and child to become a light house for the Mission. We shall depict the same thought of showing the way or shining as symbol of knowledge. We will make a human formation with at least 1500 devotees from all ages and create a shape of light house. It will be a world record for Guinness Book. For this we will provide registration forms very soon.

In the end let me once congratulate you all for this symposium. You were certainly guided by eagerness, and you followed rules. Today youth can’t live without phone, but you all followed the discipline and rules and did not use the phones for hours together. You attended the event calmly, there was no noise at all.

May Nirankar bless all so that we continue to have this nature and the maximum capacity for Sewa. Let us adopt in life whatever new learning we received here.”
