Satsang Programme in the Divine Presence of
Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj

Delhi: July 30, 2017

The Sunday congregation in Delhi on July 30, 2017 was organized at Samagam Ground No.8 in the divine presence of Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj. Thousands of devotees from Delhi, Greater Delhi and adjoining areas attended the huge congregation. In her holy discourse, Satguru Mata Ji said:

“Saints some days ago I saw the ‘Kids Divine’ programme. A child asks a saint, “Why does this football receive so many kicks?” In reply, the saint says, “Because it is full of air.” It means when there is ego or false pride in a person, he faces many problems in his life. And saints, this ego is so subtle that one doesn’t know what led to its entry. You have often heard the example of Ravana. In spite of being a devotee of Lord Shiva and having the knowledge of Vedas, he was doomed due to pride only.

Saints, Baba Ji often gave the example of women carrying pots full of water on their head. Sometimes, another pot is placed over the one. While walking, whatever the condition of the path, they maintain balance because in their conscious or sub-conscious mind they know that they are carrying the pots full of water on their head.

Similarly, if we remain connected with Sewa, Satsang and Sumiran and keep the mind concentrated on God, no negativity will over-power us, because the realization of God does not allow any ego or pride to come in. it brings positivity into our life from all angles.

Just now you heard the song that when we have God to support us, we receive support from all sides. So we have to seek God’s support and then move forward in life. And life will be full of positivity then.”

One of the prominent speakers of the day was Shri Sandeep Chaudhary from Bangalore. He said that Satguru symbolizes the Sun, so he does not allow the darkness to enter the life of a devotee.

Shri Sandeep Chaudhary said that after receiving Brahmgyan (God-knowledge) from Satguru, a devotee’s approach to devotion adopts three dimensions. One is that a devotee seeks the company of saints or does Sewa as and when he thinks it convenient. It is devotion by choice or Bhaav.

Secondly, a devotee may get inspiration from the life of another devotee and do Satsang, Sewa and Sumiran to find the same state of bliss. Shri Sandeep Chaudhary described it as devotion by influence or Prabhav.

According to Shri Sandeep Chaudhary, however, the best kind of devotion is that becomes a habit or nature of the devotee – devotion by Swabhav. Whatever the circumstances or the situation he continues to be connected with God inside. He prayed to Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj to bless every devotee to be able to adopt devotion as a part of his or her nature i.e., Swabhav.

The well-known scholar and Pracharak of the Mission, Dr. Gyanmoney Saxena from Gurgaon who returned from a spiritual tour of USA only recently, said that with Satguru Mata Ji’s blessings she got an opportunity to attended a Mahila Samagam in New York. She said that it was real example of a World Without Walls. Living in a high class materialistic city, the local devotees participated in the preparation for the Samagam working shoulder to shoulder as cherished by Satguru Mata Ji.

In Boston, Dr. Gyanmoney said, we find an upcoming spiritual university of the Mission. Every youth is taking interest in every aspect of the Mission that is inspiring people from other religious organizations also to join the Mission. Similar was the state in Washington and other places in USA. It seems everybody is motivated by the teachings of Baba Hardev Sing Ji Maharaj and Her Holiness Satguru Mata Ji.

Another prominent speaker of the day, Shri Rakesh Mutreja said that we are all fortunate to be a part of this gracious Mission. It is time, however, to introspect and go inside where we will find only a blissful state bestowed by Satguru.

Shri Mutreja, however, said that negativity is stronger than positivity. A single black spot on white dress attracts more attention from the people than the dress itself. We have, therefore, to avoid negativity as far as possible. And the best course for this, he said, is to seek the company of saints. He prayed to Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj to bless every devotee with devotion based on faith.

Rev Sandeep Gulati from Gurgaon said that realisation of God is the only common factor that brings us together as in this congregation. It is this factor that distinguishes a devotee from other people of the world unfamiliar with the Almighty Nirankar. We are Nirankaris because we have known Nirankar and remain aware of His presence all the time. And the realization of God fosters human values in our life that lend us the definition or identity of saints. This makes our life happy here and opens the gateway to salvation hereafter.

Shri Sandeep Gulati said that Nirankar enters our life with the blessings of Satguru only by bestowing God-knowledge which becomes the foundation for the life of devotees. Now if there is any short-coming, it is on our part, Satguru having played his role.
