Guru Pooja Diwas--2013
On 23rd of February, 2013 with the grace of Nirankar, all the saints of Sant Nirankari Mission, Houston branch, celebrated His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj's birthday. It was 59th birthday celebration of his holiness. His holiness was born in the holy family of Satguru Baba Gurbachan Singh ji Maharaj and Rajmata Kulwant Kaur ji. This holy day is celebrated at all the branches of Sant Nirankari Mission world wide as GURU PUJA DIWAS.
Auspicious birthday and Guru Puja Diwas celebration started with social service at Houston Food Bank in the afternoon of February 23rd. With the blessing of Nirankar and guidance of His Holiness, 30 saints with ONENESS went to Houston Food Bank for volunteer service just to acknowledge universal brotherhood and sisterhood of mankind. Houston Food Bank helps homeless and poor people in the community.
In the evening of February 23rd , saints gathered at Rev Raj Bhala Ji's residence for the satsang (congregation) where saints shared their heartiest wishes through speeches, geet (spiritual songs) and Qawali.
Saints including children continued this celebration on February 24th satsang(congregation). On this day, children performed a skit depicting the coordination and harmony between Sewadal (SEWADAL -Sangat in action) members. After that an impressive Sewadal rally was held. At the last we were blessed with His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj's discourse. Every saint in Nirankari Mission always thanks to Nirankar for appearing on the earth in the form of human being as His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.
