Houston Blood donation camp

Each Year on April 24^th, the devotees of Sant Nirankari Mission celebrate the Manav Ekta Diwas (Human Unity Day) by donating blood in the memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj, who sacrificed his life for the betterment of mankind.  Houston SNM branch annually holds one such blood donation camp on this occasion. This year, the arrangement for blood donation was possible on June 4^th. A MD Anderson blood donation bus arrived at India House, the place of our congregation. There were 27 donors who came forward to donate blood. In total, 19 units of whole blood were donated. 8 cases were deferred. The enthusiasm for blood donation was palpable for everyone to see. Saints had also organized langar on this occasion. All saints sought the blessings of satguru on this occasion.
