Manav Ekta Diwas

On April 27, 2014, saints in the Fort Lauderdale Branch gathered at Navneek ji and Shivani ji’s home for a spiritual congregation. They celebrated Human Unity Day (Manav Ekta Diwas) in the sweet memory of His Holiness Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj. Manav Ekta Diwas (Human Unity Day) is the remembrance of the sacrifice of the Satguru for peace and love amongst mankind. Saints from Fort Myers also came and joined the congregation to celebrate Manav Ekta Diwas (Human Unity Day). The congregation was presided by Rev. Dr. Kanwal Chawla ji from Fort Myers, followed by His Holiness Babaji’s Vichaar.

The congregation included many devotional hymns an beautiful thoughts by the Saints as they conveyed their utmost respect for the sacrifice that our Satguru gave so that the human race could live in peace and harmony. The youth of Fort Myers shared a beautiful English hymn about the mission and spoke a little on the history of the mission. Harjap Chahal Ji shared personal experiences about the day that the Satguru sacrificed his life.

The congregation was concluded with Baba Ji's vichar which highlated the different accompalishments of each Satgurus up until this time. The movemet was started by Baba Buta Singh Jiand Baba Avtar Singh ji took the goal forward with the saints. next, Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji took the mission to the new heights including into different counteries. the path was not well-laid and easy and Baba Gurbachan Ji had to explore new methods to spred this God Knowledge.

The divine experience was concluded with the offering of a community meal to all the satsang members and created a peaceful and loving mood for everyone. It was truly a blissful day, everyone was full of devotion and the message of Unity was reminded and imbedded in everyone’s mind.
