Sant Nirankari Mission - Edmonton: Community Services - Blood Donation

"Human blood should flow in veins, not in drains" - His Holiness Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji.

The Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) actively participates in the global effort to save lives, with
each branch worldwide collaborating with local blood donation organizations.
SNM encourages both youth and members to contribute to fulfilling someone's desire to live by donating
blood and advocates for equal opportunities for everyone to engage in such acts of kindness,
irrespective of race, culture, gender, or religion.
This not only extends a significant amount of love and affection to the recipient but also emphasizes the idea
that donating blood and engaging in acts of kindness should be universal and not limited by individual
characteristics.

Inspired by His Holiness, blood donation programs were initiated in the Mission in 1986. In 2010,
the Canadian Blood Services recognized SNM Canada with the 'Partners for Life' award for their
unwavering support over more than a decade. The Canadian Blood Services expressed their gratitude
by featuring SNM in the September 2010 issue of Pulse magazine, a quarterly publication that
profiles a Partner for Life (PFL) organization in each edition. SNM is also highlighted on the
Canada Blood Services Website (https://www.blood.ca/en/ways-donate/donate-partner/proud-partners/sant-nirankari-mission)
