Work Your Body, Work Your Spirit - BUPA 10km Run

May 30, 2011: With the grace of Satguru Baba Ji, over 50 devotees from across the UK gathered to participate in the BUPA 10km Run throughout the city of London.

Devotees came from numerous locations such as London, Ilford, Erith, Oxford, Hitchin, Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Glasgow to take part in this event.

Wearing attire which read "Sant Nirankari Mission" on the front and "World Peace and Unity" on the back, devotees sought to promote the very reason for their inspiration; this Mission which encourages love and unity amongst the entire human race.

Rev. Mahesher Singh Bhumbra Ji, Social and Welfare In-charge in the UK felt enthused about the wonderful spirit in which devotees conducted themselves whilst enhancing the awareness of the Mission amongst the wider community.

The term 'Work Your Body, Work Your Spirit' was used to explain that our body is a gift from God which we should all take care of but that we should also work our spirit to gain true wisdom and happiness and live a honest and good life.

All those who were part of 'Team SNM' also signed a T-shirt which was presented by Ravinder Chauhan Ji, London Committee member to Rev. Mahesher Singh Bhumbra Ji as a mark of their appreciation for the day’s proceedings and for guiding and encouraging all the devotees.
